Hi Max! There are several important considerations to ensure they work together harmoniously: 1. Speaker Matching: It's ideal to use studio monitors from the same manufacturer and series to ensure tonal consistency across all channels. If that's not possible, try to match the speakers as closely as possible in terms of size, sensitivity, and frequency response. 2.Positioning and Alignment:LCR (Midfield) Monitors: These monitors should be placed at equal distances from your listening position, forming an equilateral triangle. The center monitor should be positioned at the same height as the left and right speakers, preferably horizontally aligned. Surround/Height (Nearfield) Monitors: These monitors should be positioned to the sides and above or behind your listening position. They should also be aimed toward your ears and positioned at an appropriate height for their respective channels. 3. Acoustic Treatment: Treat your room acoustically to minimize reflections and standing waves. This is crucial for ensuring that the sound from all speakers integrates well and reaches your ears accurately. 4.Calibration: Use a room calibration tool or software to measure and adjust the response of each speaker. This helps to achieve a balanced and cohesive soundstage across all channels. Great video! Nic's studio looks exactly like mine... NOT! LOL! I bought a pair of the A7V for my computer/nearfield audio system. I'm hearing so much more detail from my music and games compared to my previous passive speaker setups. The A7V is the best audio purchase I've made in over 10 years.
