My fourth version of In the Final slept so long, and now it wakes... It must be freed... BEHOLD!
This is a fusion of all three of my past versions combined (gameplay from versions 1 and 3, images from V2 put together). Some issues have been fixed like turning down the music more to hear the villains more and also fixed Dark Bowser and Fawful’s voices so you can hear them easily. Some new additions are here and so is the entire finale of Bowser’s Inside Story!

Wow... I love this. I knew both Man on the Internet and Juno Songs had great In the Final/The Grand Finale covers, but I didn't realise there were so many other lyrics for so many other valued members of this battle, like Starlow, Fawful and Bowser's minions. The way you put them all together in this is amazing. And that alert sound effect when Bowser heard Mario and Luigi in his stomach was rather funny. Let me say: this is near perfection. First off, the original song itself. I love it because, it really shows the stakes. Cackletta was more of a threat to just the Beanbean Kingdom, and the Shroobs threatened the planet and a majority of its inhabitants. But the Dark Star? It’s implied that it can cause an issue for all life itself. Human, Toad, Yoshi, Koopa, Goomba, Boo, whatever the hell Wario is, etcetera. The music shows that EVERYTHING rides on good and evil to join forces (even if unknowingly) to kill an ancient evil. It sounds equal part triumphant and terrifying. Juno and Alex were already flawless. You utilized them both in the best ways. Miracoal’s Fawful and Heidi’s Starlow are surprisingly wonderful, and in the former’s case, I’m glad you’ve made him more audible alongside ConfusedAsAlways’ lyrics. CAA took a bit to grow on me, but they fit well with the Dark Star’s character. Speaking of, NICE work on your own cover. The minions sound so adorably energized but pathetic, but that’s actually perfect, because that’s what I imagine them singing like. The parts with Kamek are great, and I might overall comment my own version of it’s okay. Meanwhile the dark minions sound wild, haunting and unorganized, as if they weren’t made to sing, just moan and kill (Happy Birthday Yetto!). You did a phenomenal job. I have to ask, Megalovania is a VERY different beast, with an infinite number of covers, even before MOTI put their hat in the ring, and not to mention Juno and Alex having done a ton of joke covers. So, you’ll likely limit yourself, right? If I may make 4 suggestions, add Wrongalovania, and the versions by SquigglyDigg, Radix, and Caleb Hyles. Good luck overall! I'm going to soon make another Megalovania Cover,and I'm also going to make my own Cover of The Grand Finale. I'm planning on making more Versions of the Dark Minions Cover and my Destroy The Dark Power Cover,especially the latter. Yeah, I decided to put something comedic for chortles. I want my mashup to be unique and stand out from the others by having a before and after the final battle, the credits and the after credits scene. Not to mention, there are some elements from the Super Mario games like the images of the minions, Bowser Jr and Kamek outside Bowser’s Castle, Bowser and Bowser Jr together, Bowser from Super Mario Galaxy and finally... the text in the very last scene before the video ends actually belongs to Rosalina as you can tell from the teal blue text with platinum blonde outline. You may think it’s Chakron until you see the “beyond the stars” line and the stars for my custom dialogue box.

Thought I’d give my thoughts on this because I actually really liked the previous mashup. I’ll start with the beginning dub. It was pretty good, Bowser (the lines before Juno’s part started) sounded a little higher pitched compared to the deeper sound bites in the game but otherwise it was pretty good. The mashup, compared to the previous one especially, is just amazing, both Dark Bowser and Fawful could be heard clearly and that’s amazing, there is a couple of things that are off putting a little though. The Dark Minions suffer from the same problem Dark Bowser and Fawful had in the previous mashup, even when they were singing together it was hard to tell what they were saying. Kamek’s singer sounds like he was actually running out of breath a couple of times, and couldn’t hold notes, it becomes more evident when Bowser and Kamek are singing together. I don’t know if anyone else picked this up or not but there’s what sounds like a record scratching in the background when Fawful sings a couple of times. For the final dub it was pretty good as well, Peach sounded like a guy was trying to voice her but otherwise the voices are what I imagined they would have.

Yeah for the dark minions much like I did with Dark Bowser, I took the normal pitch of the voice, sent it into AudioStretch, put it 5 pitches lower, import to iMovie, I took the original and put them together. For Dark Bowser I turned down the low pitch around 80% and kept the normal one but for the Dark Minions it’s the opposite where I turned down the normal voice and kept the deep voice. Also heads up, I’ve changed my profile pic but now in the form of the Dark Star (Dark Star Core) and changed my banner image too.
