The celebration was him “smoking them” lol the run was him rolling them up, he took a hit of the joint, threw it down and put it out with his foot. Lol

The flute guy is a piccolo! Which makes it even better 🤣
@blakehorton6306Ай бұрын
As a lineman I was always taught to leave the furthest outside guy if we didn’t have the numbers. Most outside is usually the smallest and easiest for the back and they also have the longest path to the ball. We also did a lot of gap on the backside and man on the front side center A, guard B and tackle C. From there we had man 1 and man 2 with the back picking up that outside guy at 3. Any stunts or late rushes usually got picked up by the gap guys.

By the time linebacker 9 hits the ground Hawkins is 15 feet past him...😂😂 Whoaaaa!!!
@ToIsleOfViewАй бұрын
That touchdown run by Hawkins was all Hawkins speed. Auburn was just one step out of position for this run, and Hawkins took full advantage. It was a lucky situation that the speed of Hawkins was able to take advantage of. The entire SEC learned a lesson from this play, and they will not allow it again. Cam Coleman was scary fast. He should play both ways.

Man BV can play defense, what a play call. I honestly think Texas will try this alignment and make Hawkins think about, are we bringing 6,5,4,3,2? The answer to that scenario is put air on that throw to the wide receiver, oh a Josh H throw. lol 😂

Depending on how high the pass is, maybe there was a chance RSJ could have knocked it down. If Thorne would have lofted it, we woulda been screwed.
@MChaseC5Ай бұрын
Ironically, if RSJ doesn't get beat, he doesn't throw the ball.
@soggybread749Ай бұрын
True in a sense, but it does look like all the inside guys did push them to go inside. If you look at the left side of the field its like their guiding them into the inside with the linebackers dropping back. It's almost like they wanted them to throw the slant to the inside. But he did get beat really bad
@mcrozz69Ай бұрын
Dude... linebacker 9 is 10 yards from Mike, sees him coming and still gets his doors blown off!

On the Kip six play I would like to see the outside defenders play bump and run on the recievers. We know we have a free rusher coming off the edge and the QB isn't going to have any time.
@blac1819Ай бұрын
We knew the qb's read was the slant if he sees cover 0 with off coverage. We baited him pre and post snap then drop into underneath zone to quick for him to have a chance. Great call by BV. Great execution by the D, great play by Kip. Been a while but glad were playin Oklahoma football again.
@Im_Old_GreggАй бұрын
@@blac1819 no doubt. I think part of it too was that kip stumbled on his back pedal. It caused him to drop a little deeper and he was lower than he would have been if he hadn't stumbled. Great play all around for sure

Looking at the angle of the throw, I think RSJ bats it away if Kip isn't there. Possibly can turn & get the INT himself, but unlikey he scores,

When I watched the behind view I was kind of thinking the same thing, the throw looked like it could have been behind the receiver and was going to be incomplete or RSJ had a play on the ball, but who knows.
