my question is, can he block 2 texas defenders at the same time 😂

Follow-up question, does he give half as entertaining of a post-practice interview as Walter the 🏠 Rouse?

Thing is we should never put our tackles in a position where they have to try and block 2 guys..

Love this breakdown for OU’s new portal offensive lineman. You don’t get this level of analysis of offensive lineman from anyone else in the market. I’m an old offensive lineman and I live this analysis.

I’m a former RB (briefly played safety at OU) and I love nothing more than watching good OL play. I realized really quick in HS I was only as good as my OL. Had 2600 rush yards & 52 total TD’s my senior year and I made sure to thank my OL after every touchdown. My guys were a bit undersized for our class (3A) but man the fundamentals of my OL were second to none. This kid looks like he has a great frame and potential. At 6’7 and pretty quick laterally I think he can be a really nice pass blocker. Only a sophomore too. Him competing with Howland for a potential tackle spot will be interesting to watch. Hopefully we get the Robinson kid from Georgia Tech because he’s incredible and can absolutely start and hold down one tackle spot

Thanks Gabe. Excellent breakdown. You’re spot on with the perceived intelligence piece, coming from Stanford, love smart linemen. Should be able to digest Arbuckle’s system no problem. Coincidentally, I feel the same way about Rice prospect, Ethan Onianwa. His HS offer list included Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton, Vanderbilt, and Yale. Hope we can nail him down, as well.

Seems better than what we got out of the portal last year, IMO. Seems like his issues are fixable as a sophomore that's 300lbs + with experience againt talented DL

I’m with you on his quickness and feet. Can add strength. BB will work him into being a solid serviceable piece of the line. Good stuff.

If BB can refine his technique and take him to the next level he has 1st round written all over him.

@@Jewshiesty6969he’s young but will be very good imo, however EPL clearly beat him out for the guard spot and Brooks is from LA so I heard he got homesick. Went to UCLA over big schools like Ohio State & Miami bc he wanted to be close to family. Hard to blame him for that but EPL is the better player of the two and we kept him home
