Rosie’s bracing is super functional and extremely beautiful. Pretty unique/pioneering imho.

Very interesting the use of padauk as bracing material I like the idea it is a Very tonal wood & Super strong, Thank you for showing a bit of your process, watching from The USA.👍👍🎸🎼🎹👨🏻🦯👨🏻🦯

I'm impressed by your work... I'm looking to start this myself, and I see you do things that I was thinking about doing, that I usually don't see in other luthiers... The dovetail, for instance... I play guitar and have a construction background... Keep up the good work... impressive...

I find it difficult to see that the bracing offers much, or any, advantage in terms of material over a 3 or 4 brace side to side brace layout..

Hi Rosie. Could you please tell me the height of the x bracing? Thank you. Your work is truly awesome.

It must be a pretty good idea, Martin has since adopted this idea on their SC13E model. I’ve just started building guitars myself, and I’ve found out that experimentation is the key to building future success and it keeps things fresh and not the same ol’ thing that everyone else has done. I’ve got a 100% black limba dreadnought guitar nearly finished, and it may be my best one yet.

I love the use of padauk in your guitar! And the smaller pieces you used (cleats) to reinforce the seam. You've given me ideas and what to do with my padauk! Have you used padauk on the tops as well?

Hi Jefferey, sorry I am only replying now! Yes that's right the cleats are centre seam reinforcement. I haven't used Padauk as a top material, it may be a bit too dense and heavy for the job but I can't see any reason why you couldn't try it.

Are all/most Turnstone guitars X braced?
@TurnstoneGuitars2 ай бұрын
@@seanhallahan14 Yes they are!

Would you be able to get more volume if you didnt have to have the X bracing? I have come up with a way to eliminate the X brace and not need it for the suppirt of the string tension.

All over the place people talk about that the back and sides should not vibrate they are just the box/room for the vibrations from the soundboard to resonate in. So I´m getting a little confused here lol. It looks really beautiful though
