In England and Europe (and New England) it is quite common to have boarding schools like that for children of rich people. The style is called "gothic revival" and was popular during the 19th century. A plant-based diet isn’t really that much better. When you look at cows, they are herbivores, right? They have 4 different stomach sections to digest all the grass they eat. Except, cows spent like 90% of their time awake, eating on a pasture. We eat the cow because we get the same amount of nutrients faster and it’s easier to digest than eating a bunch of fruits and vegetables.

I just watched this, and the recap is misleading. Veronica didn't accidentally rat out Claire. While they were hiding in the vents, she did nearly blow their cover by accidentally knocking a screw to the ground, but they managed to escape. She never even mentioned Claire at the cafeteria. I don't know how Claire was discovered, but it wasn't Veronica's fault. Miss Genevieve didn't even know Veronica was there until she mentioned it at her office.
