In vitro culture of root lesion nematodes on carrot disc

This video was recorded in Schroeder's lab, Department of Crop Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. This is a slightly modified protocol for culturing root lesion nematodes by Coyne and Ross, 2014. In this video, we show step by step to conduct an in-vitro culture of root lesion nematodes where we had success of culturing hundreds of thousand to million of root lesion nematodes for our need for experiments. We hope the other laboratories can also succeed to culture this nematode for their experiments based on this video.
