In which I play hooky to throw a little mid week lunch party for a friend not seen for forty years x

What larks to hear from a friend last seed FORTY ONE YEARS AGO! with the announcement she's in the neighbourhood and can we catch up?!?!?! After a few weeks so busy I felt as though I was pushing a solid wall, this week is calmer so I treated myself to a day off and invited her and our mutual friend, the creator of my lovely blouses, Sarah O'Keefe, to lunch.

That was amazing!!! But I feel somewhat cheated by not meeting your friends, especially the seamstress who makes your amazing blouses, and your friend you haven't seen for 41 years.....and all of you enjoying that fabulous lunch you prepared!
