Beautiful! My late Father & I used to start our walk from Cuckoo's Corner, along the little stream, I think it's called Ladywells Stream, up to Coombes Farm, then back along the actual river. Used to see Kingfishers along there, but sadly not for some time now. Thanks Richard for evoking lovely memories x
Loved the video , and the change in music, loved the ending too.

A beautiful area which Bella and I explore frequently. The lichen on the old wooden bridge has got to be some the best anywhere in the world. When studied through a factor x 60 lens it opens a world as interesting as a coral reef, or the Red Sea. Sadly many people don’t know it’s there and therefore never witness it’s beauty! 💚

I think it's nice to see nature in all it's moods. Feel the wind blowing through your hair Richard. Glad to hear you have not given up on A.S.Cook. l liked the last shot of you running.

Having tuned into your channel during lockdown inspired me to get out more to explore different places particularly in or around the South Downs. After restrictions were lifted of course. I live in Hove so there are really no excuses.

Another great walk. Thanks for braving the weather to film the hazy muted colors. A fantastic ending...looked like Steve Austin in 6 Million Dollar Man jumping over the camera.

Lovely walk along the Adur! As you said you may have walked this area before, but I really enjoyed seeing it at different times of the year w/ different weather. It made me miss being able to visit our Oregon Coast right now!☹ In fact, the rainy weather & wind just made that more reminiscent (& realistic)!😂 Loved the new "jazzy" music & your artistic run jump shot!😄

A lovely walk, Richard. We foolishly decided to go to the beach on Saturday afternoon and it absolutely threw it down - we went to climping and got hilariously wet!

There is a certain atmosphere that develops when the weather is a bit iffy. I hope you didn't get too wet on the way back.

I think with the confidence thing, you just have to think, I am speaking to over 10,000 people, not myself. Hell yeah, that will boost your confidence :) I washed my car today before the rain was due and it came, so I can fully empathise.

Hope you dried out! I've always thought that the A27 bridge over the Adur and its associated clover leaf slip roads was a terrible thing to do to the river valley right at its most dramatic point near the huge Lancing College Chapel. I don't argue with the need for the road but a higher bridge or even a tunnel with more sympathetically designed junctions would have been far less dominant in the landscape.

It’s not so fantastic, when they are illegally camping on private land, leaving rubbish, human waste and leaving fires lit though! 🤬

I never had someone ask me to work on the farm so they could hunt. I've had trespassers hunting on my property illegally. I've been charged a lot of property tax for the privilege of owning the land.
