Been using this for about 2 weeks now with full custom water cooling. At first I was worried that wouldn't be able to fit both of my HWLabs Black Ice gts 240 rads in it but it works just fine with slight modifications to the front fan bracket as well as some new holes in the bottom. After the build I was surprised to see how little space was wasted when water cooling, which was a surprise to me. On top of the 2 240mm rads I was able to fit my r9 fury X (short gpu) with an ek block, and the EK D5 pump, with the larger 140mm res on it as well as about 30ish bitspower fitting and hardline tubing. Just thought I should share some information about water cooling in this case.

What do your temperatures look like? I was planning on building a similar configuration and I'm wondering how it would perform.

about 50C on both CPU and GPU, water temp is like 40C with 4 noctua NF f12 fans. Just note that you have to mod the case a bit if you want to fit the bottom 240 radiator, just a few holes and make sure your rad is short and thin enough.

i.imgur.com/lNPH4G9.jpg, there you go. Sorry for the crappy phone photo, but if you need anything else, I am happy to provide it! Also if you need to know anything about the mods I had to do to fit everything I can provide that too. It's REALLY tight in there lol :)

I've got this case as well. Extremely well built with thick steel, especially for the cost. A little warm but very quiet imo. I managed to fit the Noctua D15S (160mm in height) despite InWin stating it will only fit 158mm coolers. i7-7700k (4.8ghz) with a 1080ti and temps are just fine :)

Did your Noctua D15s acutally hit the side panel or was there still a gap between? Because I acutally planned to buy this case and wanted to use a Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 as a CPU cooler but its 16mm in height.
@TheEGGtech7 жыл бұрын
There is still a gap. The 2 fans (I added a second fan - a Noctua F12 as a second A15 fan would not fit) and heatsink do not touch the side panel and do not move or get bumped when I install the side panel. I managed to fit a few pieces of paper between the panel and the heatsink to check how close it was and they move freely so there's probably about 1mm-2mm of room. It's tight, but it works.

I will say thought that cable management is a bit of a nightmare in the case!

Can you please tell me about GPU temps? Does it goes beyond 80 degrees?

I was looking for a high quality compact case and this case delivers. Sure there are some compromises but that is to be expected when trying to cram lots into a small package. Overall though very happy with this case and with careful planning everything fits nicely.

That hinged side is nice looking. I can’t use a Micro case though and that drive layout isn’t the greatest.

What mobo was that and does LGA 2011 get really hot in this case and I'm making a very similar build

The front audio jacks are too small and I cant plug in my headphones or headset (both have standard 3.5 mm plugs). Do I need to buy an adapter?

Can a 3.5" drive sit in that space above the HDD cage?

nice looking case from the outside but most In Win cases have little to no airflow which is an issue for me.
@nikolakopun67796 жыл бұрын
After almost year using it for gaming in average 3-4hours each day I must say that it was hard to find dust in PC since I dissassembled it whole. Also, airflow is pretty good. II get 50 celsius on CPU max on full load for hours and 70 celsius on GPU.

According to you, what is the best inexpensive Matx case on the market? Currently trying to find one due to my cramped work space but cant afford to switch to an Mitx motherboard

Just bought one for my mini itx build with a 3950x and 2.5 slot 2080ti. Seems impossible to find and itx case that shows off your pc without choking the video card.

Kinda late review, especially when 301c is available now. For some1 like me who loves mATX form factor, 301c is probably the best option now since it offers the compactness a mATX case should be, and motherboard controlled RGB lighting.
