But he never hurt her he fought it off until you come to put him out of his misery. As for Iji his death is a mystery, but most likely the black knife assassins or he killed himself to atone to Blaidd.

Hands down probably top 2 ending in Soulsborne games. My favorite is still Bloodborne where The Hunter became a Great One. That ending is just so romantic. Because it is the love story between an eldritch being and a living doll. Now managing an entire world that they saved. Together for eternity as they have each other, and that's enough for them.
