I worship Ina, and her book is a giant surprise of inspiration for me. I'm going through personal doubt in my life right now, and seeing how brave she was, dealt with money issues that would have held back her career - it's making me recharge, re-think, and re-align my focus. Such a great inspiration. I just adore her. I only wish I could find a Jeffrey, but it's too late for me now.

That is what I thought every time I would see him on her shows. We all need a Jefferey! He really does radiate positivity and a can-do spirit that makes anything seem possible. THAT is wonderful to have with a mate, and makes life full of possibility.

Leave the past alone. Your parents are not here to defend themselves. Maybe go to a therapist for resolving your childhood issues. Stick to cooking which you’re superb at.

Anybody who has had that kind of childhood needs to hear that other's have been able to move on from it. She acknowledged her childhood but was not judgemental.
