My interpretation of the song is a story of wanting to thank someone It talks about being lost in a forest but being guided by the red postbox. They talk about how they wish they could hide from the rain inside the postbox, like how you need someone to comfort you when you need it. Afterwards you try to tell them your feelings, but the rain makes your words smudged and unreadable, which is like when you second guess yourself so you rewrite it over and over again, wanting them to understand you. By the time you have the words prepared to tell them, the postbox is full, like they've already lost interest or are otherwise unable to receive your words. "I was wet with a shower Words that are too blurry to read I want you to take shelter in the rain from the post." This part of the song was kind of obvious to me. More like she's saying that the her along with the boy was covered with the showering rain, therefore, he can't be able to hear her actual feelings. The rain could mean of fear of rejection, which means that she's telling her feelings in a futile way. That's why she said that she wants him to take shelter from the rain so that he can hear her feelings. "Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, I hope you have a voice." This could mean that someday, in a particular moment, the boy would be able to give his reply. Although, the girl didn't confessed yet, so she just hopelessly wished an impossible wish. 稲葉曇さんの音楽が好きだ。 簡単な言葉で出来ているから、何となく分かった気になれるし、共感する部分があると嬉しくなる。 でも、何を想ってこの音楽が作られたのかを知りたい。稲葉曇さんの思考回路をなぞり、心を豊かにしたい。 だから自分なりに解釈してみた。僕のイメージは的外れかもしれないけど、他の人の考察を読みながら歌詞を吟味するのが楽しいし、僕の妄想も皆の楽しみになれたら嬉しい。 まず、「あなた」は、初めて恋心をもった少女だ。 春の終わりごろ、混沌とした学校の中で恋心（= 赤いポスト）に気づいた。 気持ちのほとんどは伝えられないし、自分でも分からなくて涙声になるけど、言葉をかけ続けた。 言葉がぐしゃぐしゃで伝わらない日もあるけど、好意に気づいてほしい。 必要以上の努力（= 余分な切手）をして、溢れそうな言葉を毎日、一つでも多く言おうとした。 涙に咽び（= にわか雨で濡れて）、言葉がぐしゃぐしゃになってしまうけど、先人もしてきた「恋」という経験だと思うと幾分楽になる。 好きな人（= 宛先）を諦めきれなくて、明日か明後日には告白できたらいいなと願っている。 未体験、経験不足でも言葉にして伝えなきゃならない。使いこなせない「好きだ」という言葉が、喉をついて出てきてほしい。 落ち葉の降り積もった晩秋、皆が経験してきた恋の中で、伝えられていない気持ち（= 届かない手紙）は心を満杯にした。 学期が終わってしまう直前、友達や親にもらった勇気で告白の文言を考える。 恥ずかしい言葉は諦めて、どこかで聞いた言い回しを借りてもいい。 頭が真っ白になっても言葉が出てくるように心の内でシミュレーションを繰り返す。 嫌われたらどうしようって、涙が出てきて、自分の気持ちをぼかしてしまいそうになるけど「恋」ってそういうもんだ、と自分に言い聞かせる。 泣いていたけど、好きな人は好きなままだ。明日に告白して、明後日には返事をもらうんだ。 明日は少女から、明後日は相手から直接気持ちが届くように願っている。
