Seeing this encouraged me to get a screen with a frame and fix mine - worked a treat! Just one thing I would say is - the speaker near at the top (phone earpiece) has a metal plate which fits there but isn't easy to see.

It takes longer to separate the glass screen and the digitizer, but it's worth a try to save over 100 bucks. Your digitizer seems to work ok so it's worth saving IMHO. Nice video.

Great video! I have one question. I dropped my S7 edge accidentaly a couple of time while it had the charging cable plugged. After that I noticed that the "fast charge function" didn´t work anymore. Also I noticed now that the charging cable when its plugged in it wiggles more than before. So basically the question is, Is it a trouble with teh charging port, and if it is, can it be changed only that or does it come with the screen? Thanks

I would assume IP68 is essentially lost after a repair like this, as IP68 requires a vacuum to be maintained inside the device. I would guess some of the water/dust resistance is still in place but not as before. Would not submerge a repaired device like this in water for example as you could prior to the damage and subsequent repair.

Does it keep the water-resistance capabilities?

My screen is not cracked but the display is fuzzy. I was told it was the digitizer. is it possible something is just loose? it will still display an image but I am unable to us the touch screen. I'm wondering if I need to replace the entire face or just look for loose piece.

My Bread That depends on what adhesive you use, and how you place it. It wont be waterproof but you should be fine dropping it in water for a few seconds

If you want to remain waterproof repair your phone like this buy LCD and housing and there's a seller on eBay fonejoy that sells all your waterproof rear adhesive just search fonejoy
