This will be my first InArt figure. I don't mind waiting for it. But if it does reach Batman level wait I'll get a little antsy. My favorite part is the the flight pole being able to plug into the figure.

The gaps in the stitching/weave on the suit look a little too big (hopefully it looks/feels different in hand). I had to laugh with the description of a space stone (kryptonite), that was a first. 😉

The Martha scene could certainly have been handled better, I mean why would a son refer to his mother by her first name? Unless Clark - knowing that Bruce is Batman - did some research and found out his mothers name? But then they should have had a scene showing us this. I think something like: "You're letting him kill my mother/my mothers in great danger" might have worked better. My guess is the writers wanted "Martha" to be used in order to confuse Bruce to buy Clark more time. Lois then conveniently shows up, mentions that Martha is Superman's mother, which immediately humanizes Clark for Bruce and calms his rage. The thing that annoys the hell out me (among many) is that Clark didn't persevere trying to tell Bruce what Lex was up to, and all too quickly resorted to fisticuffs, conveniently throwing Batman into the building where he stashed his spear. It is a classic example of spectacle being prioritised over story. The film turned the "Worlds Greatest Detective" and Superman, who's also supposed to be very smart, into a pair of dimwits. It's another example of a writer not being smart enough to write very clever characters.

@@mcguzman5398 But did he use it though? The film shows him using a variety of his powers, but I do not recall any scene where he used x-ray vision. Also, can you clarify x-ray vision in relation to what aspect I spoke of? If you're referring to what I said about Superman throwing Batman into the building where Batman stashed his spear, that would make Superman even more foolish if he scanned it first. You mentioning x-ray vision brings up another problem. Superman knew he was heading into a hostile situation, so you'd think he would scan the surrounding area first. Had he done this, he would have seen the traps Batman set up, the grenades Batman had on him, and probably the spear in the building. The film doesn't show him using this power so it's fair to assume he didn't use it.

I mean it's very impressive I will give that company the big satisfaction today know how to create good stuff when I look at it I see Henry Cavill but my only problem is that we are now dealing with Superman but yet we still have customers who have not yet gotten their all-in set with the Batman and it's like you release this and you're moving on they really need to work on releasing their figures out to the public instead of just making sure we have to deliver this on time quick and fast to the influencers I understand that influencers really bring their business upright but the people that put their money where their mouth is to buy these products deserve to have their items be brought out to

I do agree that this InArt Supes looks better than Hot Toys previous releases, but I wouldn’t jump the gun. I truly believe Hot Toys will make a 2.0 to complement the Batfleck 2.0. I was of the opinion that the InArt Bats was superior from the prototype images, but after seeing the final product comparison videos, HTs won in my eyes in terms of likeness. That’s just for this round in the battle of the figures.

Barring the Joker, I place all of Inart's portraits at a similar level. They are that good. In some respects I wish that Inart didn't start off with the Heath Ledger Joker because if they were making him now, I think the eyes/hair and colour would be so much better. If Aragorn, Gandalf, Superman are 9.5's, the Joker would score an 8.5 imo.

We’re now 3 figures “released” after Batman and the vast majority still don’t have theirs. Batman “released” 5 months ago. It’s a joke from Inart at this point. Especially to wait that long and their qc to be awful.

Great review will as always but I think I speak for a few when I say I don't care about InArt anymore. For the majority of us, InArt is simply imagery on social media. It would appear at this point that InArt are nothing more than a kickstarter company, announcing and releasing more and more figures to raise funds to complete runs of other figures that should already have been completed. They make shady excuses like its all the rooted hairs fault and it takes time, yet sculpted batman is still not with us while sculpts aragorn and HP are out the door. Honestly, I find InArt tedious and quite boring.

Will did you really get this from Kit. You probably have the closest relationship to InArt of all the KZbinrs. I can’t believe they didn’t send it to you directly. Is it because you don’t want to dally into the “influencers first “bracket and Keco may not approve?

I get my non-US licensed inart figures from kit, yes. I wouldn't say I'm the closest influencer to Inart. I am friendly with them, but we don't speak too frequent. I'm not as concerned with Keco's approval, his friendship is far more important to me.
