This A330neo is simply magnificent! the A330neo is the worthy successor for Virgin Atlantic's A330ceo, I'm glad VA has both the 787-9 and the A330-900 which are both amazing planes. Even though VA's A330neo cabin looks a little more modern and luxurious to me compared to VA's 787, I prefer the 787 which looks more comfortable with a wider cabin and I prefer the 3-3-3 of the 787 rather than the 2-4-2 of the Neo, I don't like it when there are 4 seats in the middle.

Well, the first time I heard something like that( normally people would say the contrary). I do agree the 787 by itself is more comfortable thanks it clean sheet and better pressure and all that. But normally all the people who one to travel alone and don't be squished would prefer the 2-4-2 configuration. But at the end, both are better than the older generation planes.

brilliant review i just landed into manchester on the 17th october onboard the virgin atlantic 10yearold airbus a330-300 premium economy 21 but i was allowed 22k so i filmed the engine and on october 3rd i just got on the new a350-1000 im hoping the 330-900 will do orlando so i can experiance it myself so on the 330-300 i was sat in 22k on the new a350-1000 i was in 23k infront of the engine

Neo means:- New-engine-option & that`s the main difference as it has larger more powerful RR Trent 7000 engines, these are virtually the same engines as the Trent 1000`s that power many B787`s including Virgins. Other changes are new `winglets`, & interiors. Sadly for this aircraft it`s direct competitor is the B787 which is such a good plane the sales for the A330neo won`t be as good as they should be. The A330ceo was such a competent aircraft & had great sales, but with the advent of carbon-fibre A330neo was always going to be second place with it`s heavier construction. A330neo is still a terrific aircraft & will eventually sell in good numbers.
