Sam's video is great (even compare to Casey What'shisname.) Perhaps Sam can be the "ambassador" for Inboard/Mellow Board. I still like my Boosted better except I keep having problems with remote disconnect issue.

boosted has always been about the torque with the belt driven system. but then again, you don't have to change belts on the m1. Always a compromise! I really want to try one of these. getting a BB V2 D+ in about a week.

The board is made up a 3D modeling composite that was was first made first surf boards and is considered to be almost indestructible. They use casks and pump the material in to the cask in layers or waves.

The lights on the M1 are not always on when the board is on. You can turn them on or off at anytime with the Controller :)

Right now I have an Evolve Bamboo series board which goes 23 mph but acceleration sucks compared to boosted. I was also interested in flying on a plane with my board like you can with the boosted board. Can you carry on the Inboard and is the acceleration A LOT slower than the boosted?

Sam! A year ago I was interested in buying a electric board but decided to hold off till 2017. Now I go on google and see that there are over 15 different companies making these kinds of boards. Inboard, Boosted Board, Metro board, Evolve Skatebords, Enertion boards... WTF so many to choose from. How does one choose? haha?

It's funny, I used to think that acceleration was most important and maybe I just forgot about it because of my boosted, but now I realize I don't use it that much. It's all about the 10-20 speeds.

Love the video It's the reason i had to pick up this board. By chance do you happen to have an average ride time on yours. I'm thinking that mine came with defective battery only giving me about 20 minutes at most. That certainly doesn't seem like anything near 5 miles let alone 7-10. No. There is not as much as friction as belt, but there is still some friction. I guess you can say pushing with m1 board is somewhere between regular long board and electric skateboard (mostly have belt)

15lbs with the battery is wrong. Actual weight with the battery is around 16.5 lbs. The weight of this board and the lies about actual weight are the biggest problems I have wit the M1. It also does not have the best starting torque due to lack of gearing but its honestly not that big of a deal. Other than that this board is awesome. The Acton quatro looks like its going to be a total beast. Just not as low key as the M1.
