Remember to cast your 2 on teammates while they are backing. They love this. Do often

Two things I’ve found helpful so far 1) instead of only thinking about the pull as an engage, remember the wind up only affects distance not duration- so if one of your teammates throws down a big zone ult and you’re standing on top of someone, just quick fire the 1 to keep your enemy in the damage zone, it doesn’t always have to be a max range “get over here!” 2) maybe it will get better as people get familiar with the 2 but at the moment NOONE is taking portals. To circumvent this, cast it right on top of someone who’s getting CC’d. It’s a good instinct anyway because it gives move speed and prot but instead of expecting them to make the choice to take it, the channel duration is already starting while they are getting focused(quick edit, CC does impeded the channel but I’m still finding more success with throwing it mid fight instead of placing it in someone’s vicinity and watching them just walk away from it) . And finally 2b) the move speed from the 2 as formerly mentioned gives movespeed, if you’re chasing or running away remember to toss it down to give yourself some speed and prots. Anyway, love the vid! You’re certainly one of the top smite creators as far as actual good informative content and probably THE best in terms of support. Much love

In regards to the 2. Literally did this with a friend in Joust. He was trapped near the red buff, low health, like one hit from death. I threw that in and swung away teleporting him under our tower and he was able to escape.

Hard agree with those comments on the 2. I had picked up sprint one game and the sprint + 2 movement speed is a crazy amount of escape. Y'all basically just fly

@@Inbowned i think it just came out shorter cuz Maui is new, but otherwise, these educational videos are awesome to try and teach other people how to play every role. They are few and mostly focused on supports (yours, PBM, sometimes genetics), but not really other roles sadly... that makes it so when these videos come out all the better

I know I only use my swinging ground pound offensively... I also use it to escape. Figured that might help if you are in a battle that they're not winning.

I had a bug where I used the 1 ability on an enemy with Magi's and it did not pull and my 1 was stuck on being active and I couldn't do anything, no auto attack, no ability, no actives, for about 20 seconds.

What about pridwen? How does it proc with his ult? Does it proc after the pull or after the island goes away?

I tested this in jg practice, and it procs as soon as you land the ult. Whether you cancel the island early or not does not affect pridwen proc.
