Man... My dad got this game when I was still a child. I tried to play it sometimes and never fully understood it... But the theme song was incredible, and the visuals striking and colorful. It made me feel like I was in a different universe to load this game up and play, even if I was terrible at it. These kinds of games don't exist anymore today.

When I was a kid, this is what our sundays used to look like. I love the music so much. We spent hours figuring out some 'riddles' :)

I am so glad someone is showing off the insanity that is Inca. Inca 2 was the first game I owned on my computer and it was a hell of a start for me as a gamer, so I'm glad to see where all this insanity began.

Does the intro sequence for this game remind anyone else of the cartoon "Mysterious Cities Of Gold"?

i remember to go wtf at pretty much every screen when i played this as a child. but somehow this game managed to get me interested in inca culture to this day.

Putting the "Gobliiins" series aside, Coktel Vision still made the weirdest games ever. I LPed their "Lost in Time", the prequel "Fascination" and "Ween: The Prophecy", but very quickly gave up on Ween's prequel whatever the name was. Inca has been in my CD collection for a long time, but I never played it. Having found your LP, I know, I never will - but instead continue watching this :-)

Was this the CD-Rom version of Inca? Because I believe the version I had was floppy and all the music was midi, and it had a lot less voice acting.
@nivekastoreth9 жыл бұрын
This almost certainly is a PC version, of which there were many. The CD-I port was /much/ simpler with vastly deteriorated graphics (and no VO if I recall)

Yes, I remember playing this as a kid in Asia without the intro pop song and mostly MIDI; occasional voices but maybe mostly text on screen. Thanks for confirming!

Part 1 - Heading toward the planet, just go fast and you will make it no matter how many asteroids you hit. Part 2 - That trench looks very similar to the Death Star in Star Wars A New Hope Part 3 - So going through a labyrinth to get corn? The reward for making it through the maze is maize. Why is there a Jewish Star of David in an Inca maze?

I remember just punching in the code in the instruction book where it shows you the password screen, and it took me to the end of the game lol.

I beat this one back in the day. 1996 was when I got this game. It wasn't half bad. However, I didn't understand half of what was going on. It was pretty much a trial-and-error endeavor for me, honestly. El Dorado always, always had a clueless look on his face. He had no clue what the heck was going on! I'm surprised he beat Aguirre in the end.

Yes! I agree with you! because I was aguirre in the game and the brother of the designer in life. he did not want me to continue to seduce his admirers ... so he killed me in the game! big smile!!!

Well, this is crazy! Crazy but cool really, though one bit of bad video game story telling they pull at the start is to tell you your enemy's power is without limit, because then you just ask yourself "Why doesn't he/she/it come on out and break down the main protagonist right at the start?" Though this game doesn't give much credence to making sense clearly, so that's forgivable.
