Carrying on for DivineZ, my next case study will be my most successful, Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel! A forgotten hero of gold paladin, outshined in Keter Sanctuary, can he stand firm in the new year? Is he still a viable Cardfight!! Vanguard deck today in 2024?

Great list man, been looking into Ezel again since the promo came to English recently and it's amazing. Extra 5k to all front row rears is great plus love having the extra main deck space. I've been considering a heavier Drilling Angel build, since we'd like to CB more for Silver Fang with Azaltus being able to return it back to hand, the extra soul could help with using Dindrane's SB2 multiple times to make sure we have a consistent flow of CB to maintain multiple Silver Fangs and having CB available for Ezel as well. Would love to hear your thoughts. Good mention by the way about being able to return Ezel from the back row to hand and setting up a Persona Ride for the follow up turn, a niche scenario but it could come up.

Drilling angel is still possible but my issue with him is that now with the new 54’s deck size(please see my linked vid if u haven’t), the top 3 is now even more inconsistent, so Drilling is virtually just a on place “soul charge” one. It’s why I cut him from my DivineZ PBO too. I can certainly see changes from DZBT01 impacting the way we build Keter decks, so only time will tell what the objectively best version is.

Ahh I see, fair enough. I personally only look at Drilling Angel as an 'On place "Soul Charge" 1' and the top 3 check for a potential plus 1 as a bonus part of the skill, nice to get but it's not the main reason. I'm leaning more towards it since having an on demand Soul Charge during the main phase cuts Dindrane's SB2 cost in half effectively or the soul can be put towards other units like Sacrosanct (which I'm also considering) or Teithfallt which is what I'm currently playing since she can smack for big numbers late game. Yeah we will have to see if any further developments come out during DZ, either way I love the wide range of options Ezel has available thanks to the 50 card main deck.

We don’t have enough soul for Teithfallt. Tolpaz is an option u can try though, I just couldn’t afford him 😂

Hmm, I think ,in a fight,teithfall just takes 1 or 2 soul,so i think run teithfall instead of beaumain will be better
