I personally think they need to buff the incarnon form’s base CC to at the very least 20%. It still makes 0 sense to me how the incarnon form has base 10%CC.

@@FerunaLutelou But it's absolutely terrible as a status weapon? 3% per pellet gives an expected 1.68 procs per second at base even with 56 pellets per second, and any DoTs you get will be a meaningless % of your overall damage. The normal form has an expected 1.5 procs per second, and nobody is calling the base form a status weapon.

The way my Soma w/its insanely good Riven is built, the Incarnon Mode is just straight up worse. I'm glad the base Soma got a massive buff from this Adapter but I wasn't a fan of Hata-Satya to begin with & I'm not rerolling my Riven just to fit it in because that's DE's idea of fixing it. I think it was pretty tone-deaf that the "buff" was focused around Hata + specific Evolutions as it just lessens your build options. It absolutely just needed base stat bumps to even begin to compete with other Incarnons & the 10% Crit Chance deserves to get changed.

My issue at the moment is that if you already have Boltor Incarnon, there isn't really a reason to use the Soma incarnon. Essentially the same weapon with less multishot and way better stats.

Well i have both, so i'll be farming the Soma Incarnon only to make it that little bit better, so i can use it once in a while and also don't curse the Heavens when i get it for Circuit SP. I can at least make it usable.

My main issue with the soma incarnon is its indentity crisis. The IPS in incarnon form could potentially have given it a chance to be a multi pellet slash machine, but the status chance being abysmal already kills the potential. On the other hand even with the help of hata-satya, the crit chance on the incarnon form is still way too low to make any meaningful impact and it also forces yet another mod on to the build to band aid a flaw with lackluster results.

I find it so weird that they didn't flip the soma on it's head or double down on it's uniqueness like they did with pretty much all the other all the other incarnons, it's like they started flipping it on it's head by turning it into a shotgun and then decided against it half way thru

if they gave it a +10cc +10status final evolution it would probably actually be really decent (or make zeroed in critical parallel instead), sadly it did not get that, the meh base stats and lac luster final evolutions kinda disappoint. A watered-down OG incarnon talent could have been a good option to give incarnon form some kick too (50% chance non crit to do 800% dmg etc)

The thing with the Soma Incarnon prior to it having Hata working is that if you made it work via other means (Zephyr), the Hata buff persisted from Incarnon mode to Normal mode, meaning you could start with a full 500% crit buff with a max mag. If they brought that back, Soma would be great

The only issue I have when using the Hata Satya: you are locked into using the Soma if you want to keep your buff going. Swing your melee or use your secondary- all stacks gone instantly. If it would only reset on reload, that would have been great- but as it resets on weapon holster it limits you.

With the new arcane based on toxin damage for primarys you could use just 1 toxin mod and the vulpa, that way you get the usual viral for the slashes and for the toxin to do more damage, plus having a little more of multishot and a lot of extra crit damage

I have a Riven with both Viral elements and Multishot so i put that in place of thr Viral mods and Primed Shred just cause it makes the weapon feel better and stack Hata-Satya a lot easier

The biggest problem with Soma Incarnon is that it seems that DE massively overvalued its multishot gimmick. It has high multishot but its crit and status chance was nerfed to the ground, which hurts the weapon because with only 10% crit, it can't even orange crit without Vigilant mods, meaning it's a bad crit weapon. Don't even get me started with the bone-headed decision of giving the weapon Fatal Affliction, which is useless on this weapon considering that it only has 3% status chance, even with multishot it's a pathetic amount. My way of fixing this weapon is reducing its multishot to 3 and resetting its crit and status chance back to their base amounts. As it stands, you're better off using the Boltor Incarnon instead because at least that can red crit.

No? He stacked it within like 3 heavy goons and it stacks faster in incarnon form. Even if it worked between the switches it would still be slower to stack it in normal form.

Because then you can simultaneously build-up Hata Satya as you're also building Incarnon Charge. thus skipping the ramp-up and having the buff apply to the Full Bar. No wasted shots at the beginning. Slightly better dps efficiency. it's a small difference, but every bit helps

Hata Satya doesn't work with secondary primer. When you switch from Soma (even just quick melee) you lose all stacks.

i just got my incarnon soma yesterday, i was excited since i have a decent riven i could use for it. but when i saw that the incarnon form loses 66% of the weapons base crit chance normally that makes me enjoy it much less, buts it's still decent anyways

Remove the Hunter Munitions and increase the Status Chance instead of Crit just make sure you get a hundred status to have consistent slash status and then use your Riven for the slot.

I just Checked... It's only 60% Slash.... This Is Far from Ideal if you're going for Full Status Chance... But if it's Good Enough for The Lato then I guess it's Good Enough for the Soma too. 🤔

It feels like thd status chance in incarnon mode is very low, you think galvanized aptitude is still worth it? With one 60/60 your status chance is 4.8% per projectile.

Drop the viral mods and helminth nourish on your frame. now you can add some big boy damage on top of your crit mods while still having some viral procs... also nourish is just OP in general (DE pls no nerf)

ngl i think my soma is broken. first of all i get into deep redcrit territory with the incarnon form and hata satya and second of all i need to stack it again against every enemy even though it says 500% or something else is making my crit chance ramp like crazy when i shoot Edit: nevermind the ramping crit thing stopped when i removed my smeeta kavat and hata satya worked normally again. no idea what the fuck caused that though, theres no mod like that on my kavat

Nourish is more than just giving viral to enemies that hit you it gives you better energy economy so u don't need energise. Nourish +Nautilus/verglas is really gud at keeping people topped up with viral and cold and keeps things like growing power up 100% of the time too if you wanna spam abilities
