At 5:25 its worth mentioning as well that you literally cant defend cutbacks because of the assisted passing. Even if the lane is blocked, the game will correct the pass to avoid the person cutting the lane so it still goes through. Spot on video. I played 2 FUT Champs, so around 40 games and in around 37 of them, the other player was doing the exact same thing. Sprint on the wing to the corner line, go inside, pass in front of goal. Over and over and over again, with the occasional controlled sprint through the middle. Passing to my midfielder isn't just an option because the AI ist pressing the man with man coverage. He needs to combine player's instructions, work rate and custom tactics, and perhaps the formation also, in order to have his teammates making runs and powerful attacking combinations. I'm also a fan of 'joga bonito', tiki-taka, and I can assure you, without the proper tactics combinations, your team will not move. But if you nailed the tuning between these elements, your teammates will move like a charm, attacking spaces, making combinations, almost instantly.

You need game volume, mass your opponent's defenses, create havock in third field. TOTAL FOOTBALL!!! If you're in a equal game match, the chances that it will be decided by a bounce back bs from a tackle at 90+ are great. And by his own comment, he is talking exactly about playing style. He needs to sort it out tacticaly to accomplish that, and of course, it's not only about your team, your attack is also influenced by how the adversary is set tacticaly as well. e.g if your attacking is 30 wide, and opponent's defense is 30 wide, you'll have a frontal direct confront, no spaces for your offensive AI move or exploit forward, therefore, no runs to create spaces or whatsoever. But not only that, the positions also influence, you need to create numerical advantage. 71 depth pressure or any pressure will work if you have numerical advantage on field. How to obtain that? Tactics...

They need to fix the menus. They crash constantly. I tried to play matches and for a good while it kept saying that the opponent had left and then crashed. I tried it 6+ times in a row having to restart the game repeatedly. When gameplay is good it’s great. But when the servers are full the gameplay quality drops so much.

Last year when I complained to one of my opponents after he did all the ratty things possible in this game, he replied "if you wanna play FIFA, play FIFA, if you wanna play football, go outside". He's kinda right but now I don't want to play FIFA anymore, and eFootball sucks. Let's hope some of the new football games will be a bit better, but then lack of licenses will be a dealbreaker for many, so it'll be really difficult to find opponents to you in close proximity, so everything will be laggy as hell. Not a good look for the future of football games unfortunately.

Pretty much done with this gameplay. Just played a game experiencing this exactly. The guy is up 2-0. I some how get it back 2-2. I’m about to score a 3rd goal to take the lead guy tackles from behind, penalty and then he pauses and quits. He is doing the shitty mechanics and I’m still somehow going to take the lead then he quits before I get a chance too. Best part is game ended up being stuck on loading then I had to close the app and it counted as a loss! Great game EA

Manual goalkeeping is such a travesty. It’s like once you’ve broken down a parked defence. You have a random chance of scoring depending on whether you aimed at the right or the left of the goal and whether the keeper moves or not (which most people do). It’s not football.
