They went with nightclub lightning at the launch almost as if they are embarrassed at the offerings. The Changan Oshan X7 looks good though. Something interesting that wasn't pointed out was that the Oshan X7 became the second car to ever be launched into space, as a dummy payload on iSpace's Hyperbola-1 rocket (second after Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster). Those are bragging rights your BMW and Mercedes owning buddies won't have. Plus, it's a cool conversation starter. That 1500 cc turbo-charged engine produces 176 hp and 265 N.m of torque. Not bad, but use it as a one-person car, loaded it might struggle as it's not a small car. That's actually more than a 2.0i (JDM) non-turbo Subaru Forester which is rated at 146 hp at 6,000rpm and 196 N⋅m at 4,200rpm. Good for fuel economy.
