This should be a distillery to keep an eye out for in the future. Hope it makes its way across The Pond at some point. You're right about the bottle. I wouldn't want to be on the other end of someone swinging that in a bar fight either! 😂 Great to see you back at the allotment, have missed you over the past months. Things are greening up nicely there. Here too, though we have more cold weather on the way. Cheers, to another interesting review my friend. Marian 🇨🇦

Also they have sold single casks to IBs, so a Single Malt released as Strathendry and a peated malt as Finglas

Finally got around to catching up with the Allotment Dram again 😃 - I'm very lucky to have toured the Inchdairnie Distillery, tried the NMS & Ryelaw then tried Ryelaw again with Scott the Distiller at the Fife Whisky Festival last weekend, so I feel I know it pretty well - its delicious but expensive 🥃👍🙂

Thanks for catching us again Graham. The videos have been a bit more sporadic over the winter months but hopefully we be more frequent as the weather improves. We love RyeLaw, but it is a bit pricey as you say.

Ugh, this makes me so want a wee dram...but I'm taking March 'off' as far as drinking anything goes lol. Oh well, there's always April :D This bottle I think I'd personally skip as I'm not a big fan of rye - it reminds me too much about bourbon.

Ooh, they can be quite different 😊

This is very different from a traditional’ Canadian or American rye whiskey. Much softer and gentler, and one of the first Scotch examples. More will surely follow so definitely worth a try if you don’t like the big spicy and woody notes.
