Thank you so very much for this beautifully clear explanation. I'm involved in Autistic Spectrum Disorder advocacy and biomedical research. There is tremendous confusion over this specific topic: the Incidence of ASD as a trend over the past 25 years. The CDC devotes it reporting on the issue to PREVALENCE. Well yes we know there are FAR MORE children being diagnosed with ASD, but does this statement of the burden communicate an increased RISK to children born in the USA to be diagnosed with ASD? Thank-you.
