Incident: France B789 near Iqaluit on May 7th 2024, burning odour on board

An Air France Boeing 787-9 with 260 people onboard diverted to Iqaluit due to a burning odor in the cockpit and cabin, landing safely after the crew donned oxygen masks. Although the airline claimed passengers disembarked promptly, complaints arose about them being stuck in the cabin for hours. The airline sent another aircraft from Montreal to pick up the stranded passengers. Maintenance found no faults and the aircraft returned to service after thorough checks.
