Smoke in the cockpit, fuel feed questions, and then the gear won't go down. This is the long description of the events that led to an emergency landing on the fourth ferry leg from Quinten Cook's Turbine Power Solutions to the owners place in San Antonio Texas. This Walter turboprop equipped carbon fiber Thunder Mustang and I met several years ago in Chino California. When we met the airplane was dusty and out of annual in the back of a Threshold Aviation shared hangar. The airplane had sat patiently while the owner advertised the airplane for sale. This drooling engineer dork was super excited about the opportunity to work on the airplane. After six months of work and ~20 hours of flying I delivered it to the new owner in Colorado and didn't hear much more.

Student pilot here with just 48 hours. Please call emergency next time that way if something do happen you will get a faster reaction time from people and rescue. Your safety is more important than any paperwork a report.

G,day from Sydney Australia. * Unusual to have multi system faults at the same time [usually see this in larger fly by wire planes] the: * Fuel system * High pressure hydraulic lines * Cable to secondary compressed air canister. I'm interested if the A&PS went to the plane or the FBO A&P do the repairs for airworthy. 🌏🇦🇺

Only critique I have is declare the emergency. Busy traffic pattern, get those guys out of your way. They need to know so they dont make the situation more complicated for you. Sort it all out on the ground.

That tone in the headset sounds like the fuel pump in my VW did before it eventually failed. Can they bench test that puppy before next flight? Cheers.
