I"ve been a cop for 23 years, and have been in many pursuits. Those two did an absolutely incredible job. The radio traffic and updates should be the example taught to wvery officer in the nation. The driving skills were superb. Snow is snow, and I know what it's like to pursue in it. The crash was almost unavoidable in order to catch the two, based on the reason for pursuit. Bravo you two.

As a former milwaukee resident I can definitely say greenfield is the best agency in the county. No bs calling off chases and nearly everyone in the department is PIT certified which means no bs lengthy chases to get called off and if you try running they usually pit you before backup even has a chance to arrive.

It's amazing how times have changed. Milwaukee County prosecutors were the first in the nation to use DNA warrants when they couldn't ID a suspect and didn't want the statute of limitations to bar a crime so they'd issue a warrant based on just a DNA profile. Now, commit a crime and be back out on the street tomorrow.

This kind of tunnel vision is what I've been talking about for years when it comes to the police. They had their eyes on the prize and your family totally wouldn't have mattered at all. Absolutely 0 situational awareness.... Absolutely 0 regard for innocent citizens just living their lives. Remember this the next time you see an officer. If given the chance they will use qualified immunity to get out of destroying your life. To them its nothing they will stand around with their only friends (fellow cops) laughing and making jokes about it.
