I'm swiss and I'm coach in a ski club in Malbun (the ski resort from the video). To be honest I always forget that Liechtenstein is a country of their own. They pay with the same money, speak a similar dialect and even play in the same football league. Every swiss man has to do military service after his 18th birthday and the majority doesn't really take it seriously. Maybe the recruits even went there to avoid being seen by their superiors ;D Edit: When I was in the military, we had one Swiss-German guy, who lived in Germany. At the weekends he went home in uniform for like 3-5 weeks until someone realized that he was technically invading Germany every time.

By accident I don't think so, based on my research. Probably it's because the border with Austria is highly mountainous in contrast to the flatter border with the Swiss. Also, not only there are almost no border guards but the Swiss Army is the one that protects Liechtenstein militarily and some of their military bases are really close to the border, so "these things happen".
