As soon as I see the Dawn Era release and Alex's Caves updated are near to each other, I really want to make a two-in-one video. And I must say I regretted it because of how massive they are but I can't stop midway and pull through this and smaller ideas from this video probably would be spread out. I am a fan of dinosaurs and kaiju, and I see this as an absolute win!
Here we show a little guide on how the Dawn Era can sorta fit with Epic Fight (other than the spawn crash) and face down against extinction, to test the capabilities of the Extinction Spear, and meet the more balanced successor of many Godzilla mods before it.

ha, I have a similar build on my server - alex caves + epic fight souls like armor and I just wanted to add dawn era, but I didn’t install ice and fire - I’m afraid it won’t work I just wanted to know if a spear would work with this skill!

Hey I'm rlly struggling to make both EFM+WoM work with Cataclysm and Alex's Caves, I downloaded both your datapacks and it worked before, but now, for me at least, only the Alex's Caves datapack is working, the one for cataclysm is not, for some reason, and If I try to downgrade EFM to a older version (20.5.17) it doesn't work with the Alex's Caves one, idk if I gotta play on a specific version of all of the mods or even change the forge version (which is the latest one), but id rlly love to play with both since u did an amazing work with the compatibility and it simply makes the game better, is there a way to fix it, maybe messing around with the JSON's?

The Cataclysm datapack is seperated to two parts being 1.18.2/1.19.2 and 1.20.1 where as Alex's Caves only needs one datapack which uses the 1.20.1 datapack format. The difference between 1.18.2/1.19.2 and 1.20.1 is that 1.20.1 needs a mods name before the weapon type like "epicfight:longsword" for example. Inside the datapack, some JSONs give the code for the movesets. The extinction_spear uses agony's movesets, but an extra JSON uses an unreleased moveset. Switching names with extinction_spear and extinction_spear(extra) will allow you to use a different moveset after the safe file has reloaded.

So far the only thing I know that EFM and Dawn Era crashes so much is something about natural spawning and fish.

hey i have a question.. how is your game not crashing?? i have a really good pc but with dawn era, no matters other mods or only this one, it crashes in a period of time. idk how much time, but i start a world, then i play it, but in 30 mins or less my game crashes cause of the wolrd ticking idk what...

Most likely due to dawn era and epic fight incompatibility. I recommend downloading the config too.

How does the Extinction Spear work so well for you with Epic fight??? FOor me if i try to use the spear in combat mode it just disappears out of my inventory into nowhere

@@MCMiner2103 Maybe try adding unbreaking or unbreakable would make it last longer. I do not know how to fix this because I never encountered it. I suggest downloading the recent versions of Epic Fight, Weapons of Miracles, and Alex's Caves.

You can find the JSON for the limestone spear and change wom:agony to epicfight:spear. Although now I think about it, I'll probably change it in the drive as well.
