Learning, thinking, creativity and intelligence are not only processes that take place in the brain. They include all of our senses and our entire body. Considering different ways children interact with the environment is the starting point for designing innovative & amusing environments that’s more attuned to their sensory needs. And also more fun.
The DESIGN will have a healing potential of space that was studied very closely through colour, indirect light and dynamic geometries. The result is a calming environment where the teachers and learners can carry out their research and work on autism. The autistic patients are encouraged to play games, do quizzes and play in the informal environment of the sensory-friendly learning centre.
The way in which the geometry circulates and unfolds not only promotes an atmosphere of calm, rest and relaxation but in severe circumstances, also prevents children from harming themselves on corners: where this space is concerned, right angles are most definitely the wrong angles.
