Just for the record it was a DJ called Chris Bangs who first coined the phrase "acid jazz" while DJing a warehouse party with a full dance floor with Gilles Peterson and it was meant as a joke. Not a new music form! The label came later.

Let me talk about the at 12:00 (The white, actually Colibri): The trumpet player anxiously waiting for his turn to solo, extreme concentration. The amazing sax/drums duo; the swing of the drums alternating from samba to Caribbean rhythm at the entrance of the trombonist ah the inflated cheeks à la Dizzie Gillespie haha..., the percussionist feeling at home. This 2023 moment reminds me of 2015, in the extraordinary appearance at the Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues Festival in Brazil: A gala night, plus an intimate afternoon, outstanding moment.

I have been to the Jazz a Vienne Festival was there in 2022! It is a beautiful outdoor festival held in an ancient Roman arena!! The town is beautiful and the festival was wonderful!

I know who Richard Bailey is since Jeff Beck had him on the album called Blow by Blow album. I’m also very aware of Matt the keys player. just a small mistake, it is the video of the live concert of "jazz a Vienne" (ancient Roman theatre) and not that of granville in Normandy (there is no ancient theatre the bottom but rather apple trees and the beach)...for the music and rhythm part change nothing , it’s perfect !🥰😇
