Something that we’ve been doing to kill several birds with one stone, is create a vertical video based on our blog posts to use on social media as a reel. But we also publish it on Pinterest and KZbin for traffic from there. Then we take the KZbin video and embed it back on the blog post!

I have, but I question the value... I have very credible content with high trust, but, the level of work required sometimes makes me question whether it's worth it. Just taking photos seems like it could build that same credibility without the incredible work behind video creation. My KZbin videos just don't make much money. I occasionally get affiliate sales, but it still seems like a low return for the amount of work required.

Will embedding someone else's KZbin video help the SEO ranking of your blog post? Is there a way to embed a KZbin video on your blog post and not have the reader leave your site?

you can embed YT videos using plugins or you can directly copy code from YT. Just click on "Share" then "Embed" and you will get the code that you can paste on your website. In theory, having video together with other content on the page should help rankings. In practice, people tend not to embed someone else YT videos because they know that in this case, they will move their traffic (clicks/sales) to someone else.

It’s not silly at all!! I watch loads of youtube videos on Disney world - I don’t want to watch someone talking in a room, I want to hear them with footage of Disney world. That’s why most videos in that niche are faceless

Like so many others, I want to make no face videos. I want to know how to make simple voice/slide/photo videos to make an online presentation that compliments my blog posts. Nothing fancy. I need to use a simple editor, again not fancy, that does the job.

KZbin videos are super easy to embed into WordPress. As for load times, it would be loading from KZbin, which arguably have one of the best content distribution methods in the world, so not something I'd be concerned about.

YAY! This helps me know I am on the right track. I have a stagnant blog, but an active KZbin channel. I started referring people to my blog and it has really helped my blogs viewership. QUESTION: I was originally embedding my videos into my blog but then my hosting company told me my site was getting too much traffic and I would have to pay more to keep my site functioning quickly. I couldn't afford to pay too much so I upgraded to a mid pay option. Because of this they recommended that I stop embedding the videos and just link to them. I have done this along with an image that has a youtube picture on it. Do you think this will hurt me long term? I do think an advantage to this is that people have to go to my youtube channel, which will perhaps get them to subscribe. But I am not sure. Perhaps I should switch to a different hosting company....help!

Question for your live video: is it still important to use the no-follow attribute in the html when using affiliate links in your blog posts? Experts used to say it hurt Google rankings when you had affiliate links without that. Thanks!! Love your channel!

Q&A question: What about adding a video of your podcast to the blog post? (When I say add video, what I actually do is add a photo of the video thumbnail and make it link to the video.). The podcast is complementary to the blog post. For instance, the blog post is the Coles notes written version of what was discussed in the informative podcast. I’m seriously considering this idea for my niche. (And yes😊, this is faceless and faceless is fine in my niche.)

Question for your live video! I'm trying to plan the niche topic, categories, sub-categories, and clusters for my blog content. I understand that the niche topic phrase will show up in the tagline and throughout many posts. Categories are created as Wordpress Categories. But what about sub-categories and cluster topics? Do we use "Tags" for one of these? Or are subcategories and clusters only used in our internal organization? I'd love for my subcategories to show up for people under my categories, but I'm not sure how to achieve that. Thanks so much!

I might have just found my answer... I discovered you can create a category and then assign a Parent Category, essentially making it a subcategory! So I have a couple of follow-up questions: Is there a way to identify "Clusters" for our blog visitors? Do we use tags for this? And when publishing a blog post, do we select BOTH a main category and the sub-category under the post's settings? Or just a sub-category.

with all due respect but since jim has left, I feel the channel has got a little bit diluted. I know life has so many turns and there are always ups and downs in ones life but for some reason, I feel like incomeschool videos are turning more and more generic as compared to the previous ones. You guys used to bring new things for your audience, guide people with your original research and now there are videos on how to grow your "traffic" and it turns out that I have to make videos. Similarly, the project charity was abandoned. Core updates aren't being discussed. I am extremely sorry if I have hurt someone's feeling which I never meant to but as a follower and subscriber I am just giving out my honest review.

Stop throwing stone in the dark like other seo dudes, Understand search engine science for ranking a content. Understands the term semantic seo, semantic web, micro-semantic etc. Understand how NLP is used for search engine, Knowledge based, understand how to create knowledge graph for each content. Once you know all this info, you can easily craft your content and create content network for better ranking.
