i have been watching the stingettes since 2009 so a lot of what she said makes sense about the tradition of the stingettes. they are much more technical and acrobatic now but i think the feel of them has evolved rather quickly lately. it’s different but not bad. alexis was always a fave and her personality is just as bright as this dress she rockin. love it!

I am very much so an Asia fan…. So everyone would know that I thought she had the best interview… until I saw her Auntie….. Ms. Alexis… YES, YES, YES, YES, YES……. YESSSS!!!! Answer all questions giving full tea and not putting any Stingette down. She honored her coaches and her captains. She let you know it is more about being a team member and you can still leave a legacy without being captain. I mean her counts are legendary Stingette. It is wonderful and refreshing to see her. I didn’t start watching the Stingettes until Amber’s year. In these interviews, a lot of them have complained about the newer teams have gotten too far away from what traditional sting is. What’s the difference between traditional and what we have now?

They either stick their movements too hard or too fluid. Stingettes are smooth and stick their movements. Plus it's just this vibe that the stings have that have been missing in the crab class since 19 (Except for Amari, Lovejoy, Amyra and Tayla).

I appreciate the old heads and what they did in their time, but I hate the disdain and shade some always throw at the new girls. These girls have much more training and dance background. They also have access to be more influenced through social media and platforms. Most importantly, WE have access to every performance down to the second. These girls aren’t living, eating and breathing STINGETTE like they once did. Stingettes are not so much as the “ultimate” goal for most of these girls any more. And unfortunately, it’s going to translate in the growth of the organization. Once you understand that, you will then understand, NEW STUFF IS GOING TO GET ADDED! THINGS WILL CHANGE. The old girls ain leave THAT MUCH material behind for these girls to “STICK TO TRADITION” in all things they do. These girls are building a new legacy of tradition, and the hags gotta understand, ITS OK! The only people who EVER have a problem are the old heads. Ignoring the growth of platform these girls have done. The talent that is coming through this organization AS A WHOLE has never been seen before. The continuous new content these girls provide…all often times get over look cause “they dont look how WE USE TO LOOK.” So weird to me.
