I'm so glad she talked about how Shanketta choreographed to the MUSIC, not just the tempo of the song. That's something I wish many dancers/captains knew how to do. Shanketta & Charlotte were definitely good at that --- Choreographing to the actual song!

I wish they could work with the current teams with this aspect. It seems more count based now after Dom left. La’Neia did her thing though.

@@Tristan11406 Keshya did say in her recent Q&A video with JKay that for one of the field shows they had, it ended up being done to a song that wasn’t the original choice, and I think it has been said (correct me if I'm wrong) that oftentimes the band does select the music rather than the captain/team, so that probably plays into the current situation over the last few years. Not to say that they haven't been choreographing to the music, but probably something that influences how they choreograph in case such situation occurs.

Love her accent and energy. She was a favorite of mine, could buck down, and she always had a 90’s J-Sette swag. Chris should interview all J-Settes going forward, he did a good job

Wow I did not know B.Mack made those counts up !🔥🔥🔥😍💋 chefs kiss definitely some of my faves and those are timeless counts !! As far as that monkey comment ?!! It truly hurt to hear, colorism plays such a big part when it comes to these dancelines and i truly h8 it. I can’t fathom how that made her feel inside and you can tell it still affects her, so sorry Bianca you were that chocolate goddess they couldn’t take ! Built down, pretty teeth, pretty face and got a mean buck ! Feel how yall must when I say this but baby ain’t nothing and I mean nothing like a Chocolate Captain/ Dancer. It just exudes bad btch and confidence which you were. Great interview Chris you’ve gotten so much better at these, you were very comfortable and authentic with her. Loved this ! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾💙

I love them sooo so much! 🩷 It would be nice to see incoming calls with Princess from Alabama Stingettes, Makya from Alcorn Golden Girls, and Jakayla "JakJak" from Golden Girls as well as many others because no matter what HBCU they're all beautiful and beautiful dancers 🥹🩷🩷
