If you trade gifts in the friendship hour, once the goal is reached, every trade gets one rare candy. We had a glitch in Australia, where some accounts crashed and others slowed down. Niantic have announced that they're giving us another day to make up for it.

This has been a pretty infuriating event. With the system meltdowns, massive lag, and messed up raid server making people lose paid passes it was already bad. Add to it that some genius at Niantic decided to make everything super hard to catch to screw with autocatchers and everything has been far more aggressive on attacks, shifting at far higher rates, and CPs so high that even those of us that do not use catchers on days like this are throwing far more balls per pokemon than normal. It is stupid and I hope the Pokemon Company and Nintendo go after Niantic over it. This is supposed to be a fun event and it is just making people angry. And with all of this we have not even talked about the near complete lack of shinies, over 800 catches and 7 shinies.

I'm so mad at this go fest. My game constantly froze to the point I had to restart each time. I couldn't get friends to invite me to raids and when I did join was kicked out half the time. I hosted a bunch of raids where it would freeze when we beat the Pokemon and nothing happened it just stayed on the screen and when I reset the app it was gone after we beat it (mainly happened on Groudon). I'm so frustrated I actually want to speak to customer support but literally can find no one to file a ticket. To me this was not worth 15 bucks I spent on it as I could barely play. Not to mention the friends list constantly crashing as well.......

Thanks for your tips as always, but was disappointed after playing from 10am to 8pm almost non stop, 2 new pokemon and a miserly single shiny Magikarp that I already had. Went into town to make sure I didn't run out of pokeballs, and it tipped it down nearly all day here in the UK. Hoping tomorrow is better.

**Darumaka IS A WILD SPAWN BEFORE GO FEST! It's very rare but I have caught 1 or 2 in the wild throughout my time playing. And I know I'm not misremembering it because I double checked and it showed the pokeball symbol instead of the egg.

Yeah I stay in Auckland and a good few parks around. The massive spawn increase helped aswell around town. Bit annoyed I was able to farm clampearl in the water habitat hours but ended up with 7 Huntail and 0 Gorebys😫
