Walker vs Forearm Crutches - Part 1 of 2!
In Part 1 of this series I revisit walking with a walker. It's been many years since I've tried one out.v Now in Part 2 which I will post over the net few days I will walk using my forearm crutches and the end of "Part 2" I will tell you which aided walking device I prefer!
If you haven't already please SUBSCRIBE. Just Click that RED button at the bottom of the video and Click the Notification Bell that way you will be notified when I post the Forearm walking video and reveal which one I prefer most!
I suffered and T12 incomplete spinal cord injury 22 years ago. As you can see in this video and others I have posted I have movement and strength in my lower body. This is due to being incomplete. I rely on a certain amount of spasticity to help stand up and walk. If my spasticity is to intense as you will se in this video I am not able to walk freely. Thankfully I figured out how to calm my spasms down which will allows my to walk. Now on the flip side if I don't have enough spasticity my legs are like wet noodles. There is barely any strength to hold me up which then I have to bare all the weight through my arm and shoulders.
Enjoy the video. and stay tuned for PART 2!
