If they're getting welfare, EBT, free housing, cell phones, medical, cash and they're still robbing people to get free shiet, they will most definitely kill us for half a candy bar in a shtf situation. Look at how they get together to swarm big stores so they can steal shit they don't need. Imagine 40 of them swarming your house to take what you have so they don't starve to death. They'll most likely torture us as well. For no other reason then our skin color or because we're better prepared. They'll convince themselves that it's unfair they got free shit and didn't save any of it whereas we worked hard and saved enough food/water to get by for a while. As crappy as it sounds just know that they'll go after the weak links first. Those weak links are the Whyte liberals that voted for this communist utopia. I hate violence but I'll get some satisfaction knowing that the last thing a lot of these liberals will see is a horde of joggers kicking their door in and doing God knows what. They probably even think if they yell "I'm on your side" they'll let them live. After all, they they're just getting the results they voted for.

I was a police officer in the Nashville area when the bombing of the AT&T building. The 911 system failed. Dispatch could see who called but they could not talk to them. We spent the entire day responding to 911 calls from citizens that were just "scared". We had to respond to every call since dispatch did not have a way to know what the problem was. Every citizen that I spoke with was scared, confused and totally lost.

Most failures are good learning experiences. Has that failure been addressed so there will not be a repeat malfunction? It may be as simple as to advise folks to have an emergency radio for general information. It may be to inform folks to have the police ban on their cellphone. Hopefully everyone doesn’t have AT&T cellphone service. It may be good to have a system similar to a neighborhood watch program except it will be a neighborhood call/community program. Stop your vehicle if the street and announce over the squawk box, all those who heat this message please come out for a community update. Have an emergency tv broadcast explaining the situation. Repeat this his procedure up and down the roads. The first rule of order in any emergency, this will be difficult for those who have never encountered a real emergency, IS DON’T PANIC until the situation is controlled or over, then they can panic. You can bet the public, especially those who called appreciate your dedication to responding to calls. Schools is always in session.

I had to hire someone to dig the holes for 2 new fruit trees since I live on a rock pile. I home can everything I can afford. Antibiotics...a few car parts, back up heat. One trick for dealing with human waste is simply to dig a post hole as deep as you can make it. Put waste in, add a little lime & cover with a small amount of dirt. Refill the hole in this fashion but plan on filling the last 8 to 12 inches with dirt. If you can smell it add more dirt & lime between layers. It shouldn't stink. Very late now, we are more or less done for the season. But there still may be a smidgen of time to get a few fruit / nut trees in. And if you missed your chance for 2023, you got 10 months to plan for 2024. You know, even if you got fruit trees...they are not permanent. An orchard is continually losing trees. If you wait to find this out, you will be 5 or 10 years behind from where you could be. If disease or animals don't get your fruit trees, a windstorm may uproot, or lightning may split the tree in two. You have to be proactive and not reactive. In other words, you are never finished with your orchard...you keep planting fruit and nut trees forever and ever...even after you plant the bulk of your orchard and think you are done. There is no time to lose with any of this. Some trees may take a decade to produce meaningfully...and then they die. Try to buy older trees that are more developed. Smallish, bare root trees are the worst to buy if you are in a hurry. You have rust, black knot, borers, rabbits can girdle the trees and deer can get a hard-on for your tree and rub it to death. Squirrels are a massive problem unless you have a large orchard of the same trees that produce at the same time and can feed the squirrels and you. Squirrels can strip your fruit tree of all the fruit before it even ripens! To kill squirrels, forget BB guns...get the green rat poison blocks and zip tie a few of them to the trees. They will decimate the squirrel population for that season and scale it back some for the next as well. I help someone manage a fruit tree orchard and have some fruit tree experience over the last 16 years. I'm no expert by any means, but I have experience with nearly 50 varieties of fruit trees. One Green Gage plum took 12 years to produce a meaningful crop...then it got black knot and was done for. After that, the rest of the 7 varieties of plums ALL got black knot and had to be cut down within 2 years. Wet and humid Z6 is not good for a lot of fruit trees, but it takes time to find out what works best in your zone. Time you don't have. Same thing with an Empire Apple tree. It took over a decade to produce a decent crop. Wonderful apples, then it got a borer and died. A big, beautiful apple tree suddenly loses all its leaves as well as the crop that was set to grow that season. It is heartbreaking. Some trees are labelled wrong and not the right cultivar. Some fruit trees produce low quality fruit...even though the label shows the most delicious looking fruit. A trend lately with our changing climate is some trees are blooming early, then a frost hits and boom...the entire fruit crop is ruined for that season. If you don't grow enough cherries, the birds will strip one or two cherry trees clean before the cherries can ripen. In other words, you have to plant lots of cherry trees that produce at the same time to feed the birds and yourself. One of the best, reliable and heavy producers with fruit trees are the Asian pear trees. Not all varieties are winners, but Olympic aka Korean Giant is good along with Raja Asian pear - they are 2 of the best. I can say that after 16 years of working with 5 varieties of Asian pears. Belle of Georgia is a nice white peach. Red Haven is a great yellow peach. But check the chill hours needed for the peach tree. Some trees only produce crops biennial aka every other year. The way you find that out, many times, is only after a few years of growing. When setting up an orchard you need to plan if you want the crops to come in all at once for making preserves / canning or do you want the fruit crops staggered with early, medium and late harvest varieties. Plus, you may need a pollinator tree to produce a crop for certain trees. If you want to produce a crop into early winter / late fall...get a persimmon tree or 3. Jiro, Nakita's Gift, Hachiya or other varieties. Check out if you need a pollinator. That goes for many other fruit trees. Some are self-pollinating, others are not. And you need to see which trees are appropriate pollinators. One tree won't always pollinate another tree if they bloom too far apart. Lots to think about and no time to waste. Put your gold and silver down for a moment and see what you can be do to produce some food, fondlers. Some of you may not be the right disposition to grow gardens. But most anyone can grow fruit trees. Once trees are established, they generally don't need watering unless it is massive drought. The trees find their own water. But we are talking temperate climates, not the Mojave desert. I gave up my garden after 12 years. To do gardens right you need to be a slave to them. I don't like being a slave to them. But I am successful with fruit trees...as long as you don't not require perfect fruit that needs spraying and chemicals. That is where I draw the line. If a fruit tree can't produce as-is, with only water...then it gets cut down and another tree takes its place. Fruit trees need to be survivalist under my watch, or they will die. I don't fuck around with the trees. Now, if I had unlimited land I would not care, the loafers can stay. But being short on land, no room for leaving loafers around...I cut em down ASAP. In the beginning I would give them years to develop and then cut em down. But as I've said throughout here ...no more time to waste...this is it!

There is so much to cover in these situations, and you did a good job of covering many of them. You touched on human waste, disease, and the like. One thing many will not consider in advance, is what to do with the dead. Thousands of people may perish in one of these unfortunate situations, and depending on your local population density may or may not become a huge issue. Proper burial practices can help stave off much disease, predators, etc. Water supplies must not be allowed to be come toxic. In any case, death, burial/cremation records should be kept, with the hope that the situation is not permanent. One thing I have done is buy used fishing gear and crab traps as they become available, not so much for me, but rather unfortunates that come across my place. Also I have solar showers, and laundry soap stocked up for use with a 5 gallon pail and plunger. I also have some solar capable of recharging phones, and MP3 players. A hot shower, clean clothes, some fish or fowl, and some tunes will go a long way to keeping a positive outlook, as things (ideally) improve. I am glad I was able to move to an island approximately 30 miles to sea, into a rural community of perhaps 1,500. We have plenty of fresh and salt water. There are deer in the yard, elk, fish, crabs, prawns, geese, ducks, quail, etc. I'm 3/4 a mile from the ocean, 170' in elevation. You had mentioned propane, if you are near water, there are propane powered outboard motors. I've had one, and they work fine. I am looking into an electric bike, and using solar to recharge them.

Just don't take them if your on a blood thinner. 2) Stock up on B12 if you have no protein sources. 3) Have jugs of water and have bleach on hand, to sterilize water and disinfect surfaces. 4) Toileting: buckets, rags (e.g., old tee-shirts or painters rags, sheets) for toilet paper. Wash and RInse and drop into another bucket with a small amount of bleach to soak.

Pretty good video I think. One thing to look forward to will be no taxes. That's a plus. Hopefully there'll be no Washington DC when the dust clears. We've been totally off grid for 27 years now. Pretty much perfected everything supporting us at home, so people talk about how to deal with things which will go away with grid down that are everyday life to us. Sometimes I feel like the Harpers out in the sticks when people talk about the potential ills of off grid life - and yet, that really does defines everyday life for us. And it's not so bad, really. We have everything you do - it's just that I'm my own utility. If it breaks, I fix it. I made everything and so I know how it works. What a journey. Wouldn't trade it for the best penthouse in Manhattan. And then I got bit by that damn prepper bug. Oh Jesus. Now we have all of the above along with thousands of gallons of propane, diesel and firewood up the yen yang. A half acre garden and a chicken pen with, literally, too many chickens in it. Enough weapons and ammo to outfit an army and plans, oh Christ, plans like you wouldn't believe for protection, for the nuclear war, for.... well you name it and I've likely planned for it. I just lost a ton of whole corn to bugs and it didn't bother me a bit - just am feeding it to the chickens and thinking about how to replace it so it'll be safe next time. We're to the point that tragedies aren't tragedies. Same shit, different day. We have the community wide network with radios and weapons and plans. We've even thought about our local valley governance once we get re-established like you're talking about. Lately, I've been thinking about the long, long term after SHTF. Now there's a disconcerning issue for you. What do you do when the sugar for your coffee runs out? Aw crap. Hoards of zombies I can deal with, but no sugar for my coffee - that's going to be an issue. And I still dont feel totally prepared. It's like some sort of compulsive disease. I can tell you this - if we dont make it, no one is going to make it. (just dont show up here, please). A word of advice for people with wells - there are solar systems available that will pump nine ways to Sunday right off of a solar panel - provide you with, literally, thousands of gallons of water daily and they're cheap - like 2.5K to 3K set up (well ... if you do the set-up part). That would really solve your water issues if you're rural - AND give you something to barter like crazy.

Great video. All really good advice. I would suggest that people get some kind of water collection or have a ready near by lake, well, pool or stream. However with all the toxins in our world at the moment, just filtering won't be enough. The water will also become more toxic in a grid down situation. Distilling water will be the best way to survive. I suggest using a large pot or pressure cooker over an open flame (Not an electric one). Take the time now to learn how to distill your water. Gather the items now while you can. I have a large enough set up at my home to distill gallons of water a day. After distilling you can then run the water through a good activated charcoal filter to polish it up. Then add a pinch of Redmond's salt or pink salt to add back any minerals removed. This is by far the safest way to have an endless supply of water. Do the research now while you can. Get ready and stay prepared. Blessings to all!

There is now this new initiative to stop people from killing themselves. It’s sad. I say if people want to kill themselves let them!!! Why are we stopping it? I call it being weak minded. I don’t understand it at all!!! People go over to other people’s country to kill them and then they come back w mental illness. Your ass never been over there in the first place. You don’t kill another human for money!!! Just because your federal government daddy states to you to kill doesn’t mean you go do it!! Remember the Bible says Thy shall NOT murder. ABOUT GASOLINE - I know a guy that has a background in refinery work. He keeps gasoline in very large propane tanks that he pressurizes and says it will last for years. I don't know if he uses compressed air or an inert gas. He explained why it works once but I can't recall the technical reasons. He has a stock pile of gasoline stored like this and it was expensive, so I don't think he just did it for fun and wasted that kind of money. I don't even know how he got unleaded fuel in there since there's not exactly a large opening in the tank... they're just what looks like normal 100 lb propane tanks from Tractor Supply. If you google this, some will say it will shorten the life of gasoline. But others say that's because normal air is used. Perhaps he is using nitrogen or the tank is just extremely full with a small gap of air at the top. I can imagine the oil/gas companies would want to hush this method if it's viable. Has anyone tried this?

After every use prop it up in a garden pot or jar that has vinegar or some kind of dilute soap and water solution, don’t use harsh chemicals or PineSol, your pucker is very sensitive. Every morning or evening pour it out and replace the liquid with fresh. Wash and boil the sponge or rags, replace every week. It’s not perfect but is better than your hand.
