Although I would say that a few shots appeared to slide off the bat a bit and not the full face. Easy to do in the nets as you naturally hit down the ground and not through the absolute ball centre linearly. I do this. But in games it's not an issue.

What injury did you have? I had shoulder impingment and lost all strength in my hand. I was unable to bowl due to immense pain. But after a lot of rehabilitation. I am good again but now tore my knee muscles. I am a fast bowler

Hello there, an aspiring cricketer this side, one of my major problems that I face while batting is that I dont have control of my arms. When I decide to play a straight drive and I know that I will play a straight drive, my body for some reason automatically go on to play another shot (typically the sweep or pull shot), how do I fix such a problem?

I can generate power when trying to hit sixes but not when I’m playing conventional drives. They always pull up before getting to the boundary rope. I know part of the reason maybe the outfield and lack of bottom hand use but even aside of that I still feel my drives aren’t as powerful as others even though I’m a pretty strong man

Its normally swing size, plus the fact that the hands are pulling up on contact. We have done a video on this exact thing previously, it was called, mastering the most important shot in cricket.

It's all the mindset brother. I'd reccomend reading a book called the "Winner's Mindset" by Shane Watson. Incredibly useful on the mindset required when trying to score BIG runs, specifically relevant to cricket. Give meditation a try as well.
