Hi Millie, I switched my “niche” from food content to posting momlife contents. I have been consistent for the past 6months. One of the things that I am having problem with is that I do not have the option to allow facebook recommend my video. My videos are not getting to target audience. So I've been posting everyday since July 1st and I've gained 63 followers and reach by 50K. On average my reach is under 4K BUT I posted 2x today and reach is under 200 and stories are low as well. The only thing I can think is that I posted what I wanted and not for the intent of my followers (niche).

The problem I am constantly running into when evaluating our top-performing content and lower-performing content is that there is seemingly nothing to pick up on as far as WHAT the content is. I think about the type of video, if it shows our faces or a location (we are a travel lifestyle blog), if it's original audio or trending audio, if it's heavily edited or just one shot, what kind of location it is (ocean vs forest vs animals vs garden vs food)... I'm seeing the same types of content on both ends of the performance spectrum. How do I separate out the aspects of what types of content is performing well and what isn't?

I work for a cannabis cultivator and we are always suppressed, constantly banned, etc. It’s just the nature of it. BUT it’s starting to bleed into my personal account! It could just mean that it's not a "top performer" for that hashtag. IG has said that "if a post performs well THEN it will be pushed in it's hashtag page". Doesn't have to do with shadowbanning, just how they keep the hashtags clean and most engaging

It varies per collab and if you're "cold pitching" brands. I like to "warm up the brands" on social media first. So I'll engage with their content, tag them on my stories (products that I'm using and love, basically showing I'm a natural fan), and then I'll pitch to them via email. I've had a partnership landed within a week of pitching, and I've also had one that took 6 month of negotiating. So it really depends on the brand and the partnership 🤷🏽‍♀️ When you pitch, just make sure to follow up if they don't reply! I'll follow up 3 times before I try pitching to a new email from that company😂
