Just found out that before the new madrid quakes of 1811 there were reports of strange lights in the sky aka earthquake lights.. wonder if it aligns with what is happening today. heightened radiation levels from leaking radon, strange bird migrations, flickering street lights, loud booms..

We rarely feel the numerous little quakes in the Coachella valley, but things on the walls are always crooked. But I was in landers for a 7.3 in '92 I think. That was radical.

Yeah, I've been in San Diego a long time having grown up in the Bay Area. We don't get that many quakes here and the ones we do feel are usually large ones rather far away. The biggest ones I can remember feeling here were the 2010 Laguna Salada/Easter Sunday quake, the 1994 Northridge quake, and the 1992 quakes at Big Bear and Landers.

The lynchpin on the San Andreas is the Garlock Fault which runs east-west, perpendicular to the SA. When the Garlock has its 8.0 megaquake, "the entire San Andreas will unzip from top to bottom". This unzipping will instantly have a global Los Angeles Big One Megaquake.

I minutes each day. We are having a great winter here AZ. The last few winters it has been really cold. You're welcome I bought a lot of new coats and sweaters. Also I bought a small space heater. I know 65 during the day with 30 at night does not sound bad but when there is no humidity it gets pretty darn cold.
