"Defending national champs" that lost to 3 other teams (including a 10-0 to Pitt) and finished out of the top 20. "Defending national champions" that beat Miami 14-10 after Miami turned it over 7 times (5 times by Testaverde). I wish PSU and Miami could have played best 2 out 3. Miami was beyond cocky and it got them beat.

Maybe Miami shouldn't have turned it over so much or been so arrogant in 86 and they wouldn't have needed 2 out of 3 hypothetical chances. Anyway, '86 psu was fairly legit and won it fair on the field and there really isn't an argument that isn't sour grapes otherwise.
