Looks amazing. For an european like me. I would remove the pantry and move the fridge over where the stove is and move the stove where the fridge and pantry is at. And then switch the stove and sink so Cooking is apart of the home when having guests. And at the toilet by the livingroom I would change the sink to be a single of the double sink bathrooms

Even with my non-inflation adjusted 2024 teacher pay, sigh, I am assuming that with at least 10 percent down, bank would loan 210K if you build these in North Houston or the rurual Conroe Tx area, I would seriously consider it, though with high morgage, would take on roommates. IN 2011 I bought a 2200 Sq, 4 bedroom home in Spring Texas, near Woodlands for 120K now worth 285K! Close to getting priced out of this area.

Are you aware KH is planning on implementing unrealized capital gains? What than means is that gain you are publicly declaring is NOW taxable. Even though you haven't yet sold. Even though you haven't yet had the property appraised that new gain is taxable at what ever your tax bracket is. Same thing for your IRA, stocks or bonds. Teacher pension account. She wants to tax on assets/bonds/savings/ property that currently gov would capture when you sold or cashed in. Why is that bad? If your retired parents live mortgage free in their modest home, KH wants to capture taxes on the new ASSESSED value of their home. What will that do? Evacuate those from the homes they have worked and loved all these years. Vote NO to unrealized taxes. It is so far reaching and will remove all you have worked for...in the name of equity for those who haven't worked as hard. PS. Oak Forest Elem, Black Jr. High, Waltrip for me. I AM YOUR PEOPLE. BTW. Two small strikes: the closet and pantry are tiny. The fridge juts out like a sore thumb. But hey, the laundry room is decently sized! And entering from the master closet-ingenious! Just wondering where the HVAC hides; is it playing hide-and-seek in the garage? Speaking of which, can the garage actually fit two large vehicles, or is it just playing 'squeeze the SUV'? No mention of an HOA, but let's hope they're not the fun police. All in all, a charming little abode.

Lemme help you. Scratch Austin off the list altogether. If you want to live in the DFW metroplex, choose Fort Worth over Dallas. I live in Houston because it's the best for jobs, but if I didn't have to work and could live anywhere in Texas, San Antonio would be it.

Great floorplan with the exception of the half bath. Seems awkward to enter right off the living area. Imagine having a party and your guest having to go in and out in front of the whole room. It would have been better to put the door off the hallway, or better yet on the back wall of the laundry room.
