Thoroughly enjoy viewing your fishing adventures on Western Port Bay. I have been frequenting Phillip Island for over 20 years and always something to learn. Once again well done for promoting sensible and sustainable fishing.

I also catch and release fruits and veggies from my garden. I pick them and throw back under tree 😂

😂 classic comment 😆 you do make a good point, these fruits and veggies you throw back under the tree would make fantastic compost for your future fruit and veg! Just as these Snapper would do their breeding and create more Snapper for the future 😆

Cheers for the comment mate! This was filmed late in The season and we had a successful year with our fair share taken home for the table, it was great fun catching and releasing these iconic fish!

Cheers for the comment mate! I tend to disagree, this fish did swim off slowly but went straight down head first and am confident the fish would have got its bearings, we were fishing in 6m of water, Snapper release extremely well in shallow water and these fish are tough as nails!
