@@fishingmad what time of the year is best there?
@fishingmad2 жыл бұрын
Usually between Feb and April is awesome, the water temp has dropped now so it gets a bit tougher from here for a while

Really cool Video Alan! I've always wanted to go fishing at night, especially out on the boat, looks mint
@fishingmad2 жыл бұрын
Yeah its great, just really have to pick the right conditions. The sharks 100% are more active in the evening and night
@jaredbuttigieg2 жыл бұрын
Exactly right. The conditions would definitely mean everything when you go at night

Glad your enjoying the content. Shimano Saragosa SWC 6000 and a Shimano Stradic SW 5000 both great reels for this sort of stuff.

@@fishingmad got mine paired with some 8500LL spinfishers which is a little overkill but ya just never know what’s gonna take your bait in that bay

That's a great combo, yeah I use these as my lighter gummy combos. The heavier outfits are 20-50lb terez with Saragosa 8000 or Slammer 6500

Was that on a full moon night by any chance Alan ?
@fishingmad2 жыл бұрын
Yes 100% was full moon
@matthewlee13832 жыл бұрын
@@fishingmad haha! I typed that mid way through the vid then kept watching till the end and heard you say 'full moon'! What percentage would you say your trips are planned around moon phases ?
@fishingmad2 жыл бұрын
All good. Historically I haven't done heaps of night fishing but will start to do a bit more of it. I think it fishes well on full moon as the sea lice are less active, and on this occasion it was so still which would have made the baits really stand out.

Hi mate you mentioned this was point choas? Or maybe I misheard. I can't fint this on any fishing maps, assume it's off a channel can you give me a the rough GPS please? I can see you launched from Corinella
@dylandavies28472 жыл бұрын
Not a bad session but my only question for all your vids is why you have your drag so light? The small fish shouldn’t peel your line as easy as what they are
