Choosing the right industry to invest is very critical, Most times, it amazes me greatly how I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $83k per month. Utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities are bound in the financial markets. The only thing is to know where to focus.

We bought one of those walkway molds about 6 years ago for a path that stretches about 100 feet. My husband did about two molds a day (before he went to work in the morning) for several days until it was finished. It still works really well. We didn't have to prep the surface much. So, it was less expensive than a traditional walkway and used fewer materials.

Yeah, its complete horsecrap, simple as that. Neither is the production nor the product itself Eco friendly, at any strech of the imagination. Its also not recyclable. Its hazardous waste from beginning to end. The moment you tear down that house, are people really this dumb to say they recycle it? Thats a convenience Lie to make people feel better. Not to mention Styrofoam used to isolate the house walls will increase toxicity in nearby rivers and the groundwater, thats bad! Because Rain washes out the toxic material the foam is made of, at every rainfall, for the next 20 years. That is a hard life hazard FACT!

I never used to wear fall protection walking steel until the mid 1990s. It was more luck than good management that I survived 3 or 4 close calls. Fall protection is now mandatory under many OH&S Acts............ it helps prevent people writing cheques their bodies can't keep............and I have worked with some very good riggers who are now dead or in a wheel chair with colostomy bags as a result of falling from heights. The fact of the matter is in situation where there is a risk of falling from height and other controls are not practicable, it is much better to end up being suspended in a harness by a lanyard than going splat........... provided there is a recovery rescue system in place............ and the person falling does not hit a solid object as they fall. Still, it is not a perfect world........... somebody I knew was killed when he fell 60 metres back around 2003. He landed across a piece of 150 mm angle and put a 450 mm bend in it.....One of the legs of his twin tailed lanyard broke............ the other was still hooked at the top of the tower.

I don't think you should put the screws in the valleys of the steel roofing. (8.45) They go on the ridges so any leaks will be short lived as the water is gone very quickly.

@chrismullin8304
@chrismullin8304 Жыл бұрын
This is always such a great discussion! In valleys, you rely on the rubber washer but you can over tighten and split the washer. On the ridges, you rely on the rubber washer but need to be careful not to over-tighten, thus changing your layout.
@petet968
@petet968 Жыл бұрын
@@chrismullin8304 Yes, that's right. You tighten so there is pressure on the washer, no more or you spread the sheet a little bit spoiling the alignment. But fixing on the peak is standard practice in Australia.
@phillipnz1911

In New Zealand the fixings go in side of batten by using the step in the metal profile. We never screw in the pan.
@robinherrick2177
@robinherrick2177 Жыл бұрын
On the peaks you can't compress the washer because the profile is flexible. Correct installation in the valleys requires care: perpendicular screws and just the right amount of compression of the washer as per manufacturer's instructions.
