I am really looking forward to the EJ but I have to say flying GPS based RNAV with the 146 and it’s rudimentary systems and the clonky UNS-1 FMC was a lot of fun too. It can do pretty much anything you’d need: LNAV approaches, RNAV SIDs and STARs, Holds etc. Just Flight really did a stellar job with the V2 update in the 146. But of course it’s still limited compared to the RJ and a lot more work to manage

As an "old" RJ mechanic I can say that the elevator should not move when your not flying, only the small tab😊 Been 14 years since I worked on it so might have to try it out😄 thanks for the video!

I flew on one of these whisper jets on a holiday to Jersey from London City Airport. Now when this is released you could do the complete flight there and back on a stream. The approach into EGLC is unforgettable with that steep 5.5 degree GS. When we did it, it was the full 6.5 Monty.

5:27 small correction, that is the Ram Air Intake, and the smaller hole on the side of the fuselage is the APU Intake

34:30 Like in the 146 you leave the APU air on to provide air to the packs on takeoff.

Awesome a 146 with auto throttle. Thank the maker. I love the 146, and flying that on the vatsim network can be a handful. But looking forward to this baby. Great video thanks. And just flight take the money i need this plane lol 😅

It's so weird to me that many people find the modern flight/AP systems easier to use, when for me give me two VORs and a DME and I'm ever so much happier.

It's pricing is out on website, great aircraft and job by JF. Unfortunately at over £52 and £95 for pack it gonna price me out of getting this as I cannot keep up on expenditure on all things MSFS at this time, (its really expensive hobby now, with pc hardware needed, controllers, al the key plug ins, airport and plane scenery's). Hope for some sales next year or something perhaps for me, hope those getting it enjoy it does look good & enjoying all the flight videos about it online at the moment.

Hey mate I'm that kiwi dude that emailed you years ago but doing the rnp approach into Queenstown years ago.. I've noticed in your last couple of videos you are using a Xbox controller, especially one of those 727 vids... Mate I'm currently traveling europe and my trusty thrusmaster is boxed up and got a Xbox controller, it would be awesome if you did a video on your own key bindings i.e what you use for landing lights and setting auto pilot and general settings and sensitivities that you use on, I guess the key payware/fbw aircraft.. I reckon it would be a great hit too as there isn't much in the way of Xbox configurations out there, especially for the likes of fenix and pmdg.. most of those Xbox videos actually predate the release of jf 146 and pmdgs 737... Many thanks if you do... Amongst your 787 flying 😂

hell i want to ask u a question I installed this plane, everything works fine for me exactly as you show in your video but I have one problem and that is my tail rudders do not align for me and during takeoff the plane keeps going up for me it does not align for me at all I always have to push the rudder forward so that it aligns with the horizon. Is there a way you can help me with this? Of course it is the most up-to-date one.

Autopilot seems similar in operation to the CRJ which i miss flying do to no update.

I did a flight with it before I saw the video, and the whole time I tried to figure out why I couldn't get VNAV armed. Why is this not implemented I wonder....

Lack of callouts on takeoff is maybe because you forgot to turn on landing lights based on my 146 experience. There is a few "triggers" needed to get the callouts.

Well im not going anywhere atm, i got missing files warning fromm msfs on startup and nothing clears it...this bug has been around since 2020 and they still havent fixed it. I rwally dont have the time go through all the downloads again its soul destroying. Anyway great vid as usual very informative

me neither, it's just wasted performance too, since FS does not technically support a separate "cabin", it's always rendered as part of the cockpit, sapping your performance even when you're just looking out the cockpit window.

That was the 146 Pro the RJ is a more modern variant - now you can get both in pack or a discount if you have the 146 Pro already with 20% off the RJ Otherwise it £52.50 for the Pro - and £95 for both. Also there a lot of lengths and variants with each pack. Personally i'm too broke atm so have to wait for sales etc but they are good packs and JF always do a nice job. I have their Vulcan which is super good.

This is a basic tutorial, if you want to go deeper you'll have to read the aircraft manual and read a lot, videos don't teach you in depth

I can tell you that I am following 320 Sim Pilot from his early start streamings and he is a Fantastic instructor, actually thé best I’ve ever seen. Watch his videos when he’s flying the A320. This is not a detailed instructors video.
