It's interesting to see these types of individual projects that have a single color combination as a background (and in addition to the ones I like the most from H5DC, teal and purple), plus you increasingly make them more decorative like the arrows to fill space (which I always do)... looking at the photos you shared I was predicting what may or not work, but not only did you impress me with that perfect topple but I found it curious that a tower did not fall until the end because the vibration (a little hilarious to be honest hehe). Great video and what a moment for the herringbone chain circle... it shows that you are liking this type of wooden planks projects lately! 😉👍

thank you for your detailed comment! was definitely going for a more artistic vibe with this project and the single color combination worked really well for that :) haha yeah I think the tower didn't fall originally because it needed more weight on the front side or wasn't close enough to its near tipping point when building the first layer. glad it fell eventually though! :D

YOOOOO THIS WAS SUPER COOL! I absolutely LOVED this color combination of blues and purples, plus I'm sucker for circle-bomb based ideas like this! This was an absolutely fantastic project!

thank you, really appreciate that!! you know, sometimes having a limited amount of colors helps. I had the most colored purple and teal/green planks so that drove the whole color palette for this setup!

That herringbone chain circle was like 🙀 And the last minute topple of the straggling plank tower made me laugh.

honestly I think the herringbone chain was my favorite part of the setup. I was not expecting the effect to be that cool, but since they're higher up from the ground and longer in dimension compared to dominoes, it makes a pretty great and exaggerated topple. haha same!

This is beautiful! The colour combination has to be a new favourite of mine and you are definitely not the only one who loves the overhead shot at 1:32! I’m excited to see what other projects you will do in this studio :)

That was INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely loved the colour combinations and also that the whole setup was made with a single color combination only. The herringbone chain leading to the toppling of the kapla towers was truly satisfying!

The interesting sounds of the dominos toppling makes me think: can you play music with toppling dominoes? That would be really cool!

I've asked her in the past to not add music to her domino runs. The sounds made on the floor by the different sizes really is amazing. Alas, the music track detracts from it. Take a look at KnockTheBlocks to see his creations. His runs are short, but he puts a bunch in each video. No music on top. And his wooden floors really add to the ambiance of dominoes and their runs.
