I've been an on and off viewer of the channel for like 8 years, I think the first video I watched was either the world's biggest unboxing or the Hermann tortoise video way back in 2015 ish. It's kinda funny how a place can feel so familiar even if you have never been there physically and live 6000 miles away in Europe. The camp has come a long way, and I especially love how the backyard and ponds have exploded in diversity in the past 2 years. 2021 seemed to be an especially difficult year between Slinky nearly dying at the end of 2020, the raccoon situation, the thieves, Bobby Rabino, Lagatha, Freds death and more, but there have been so many amazing things coming since then, it's really exciting. I love Freds lagoon and Caiman creek, they really do feel like the crowning achievements of 20 years of Kamp Kenan. But also Slinky's new enclosure and many of the smaller projects have been amazing to witness. So thank you for all the hard work and letting us be part of this journey, Kenan! It's always a joy to come back after a long day, sit on the couch and see what's going on in the camp. It's also very inspiring, we've built and consequently updated a big outdoor enclosure for our 4 Hermann tortoises in the past couple of years. I'm looking forward to seeing where the journey goes next and if I'm still around in 20 years, I'd love to see the camp's 40th anniversary. Also shout out to Mat! You two are a great duo and I feel like he has brought some fresh perspectives to the channel and allowed Kenan to do more stuff without worrying about the camera constantly as well!

In the 7.5 years of watching, I have seen the highs and lows of your daily life, living with all your reptiles. I was actually crying with you when you thought you had lost Slinky and then was crying tears of joy at his turn for the better. Then tears of sadness when we lost Fred. @@KampKenan ive been following since you have 5k subs(, over 10 years ago! but i also saw you years ago in your earlier bmx days you were in you were much much younger 19-25y old( i had to been around 11 or 12 at the time years old . those were also the best,coolest,wildest times in my life fr fr rt. and remembering the times when pro biker and skater tony hawk was known for much earlier 1999-20s, i was around 13-15 years old at time. i graduated in 2004-05 from hs later on,thank god and jesus/ and my parents for keeping a very firm yet respectable leash on me hehe(i miss the old days but ive learned alot since then) this channel isnt my oldest nor original channel(but its the one i currently use) my very first is for gaming and started it up back 2000s i rarely use it but mostly to comment on much much over 10-20y + channels!!

We have been watching since you got Darwin in 2013. My son was 4 and obsessed with your tortoises . I have really enjoyed coming across you as an adult, I grew up riding BMX and watching you. I started following after Slinkster's close call. I caught it the day after you dropped it, and I was in tears by the end. The love and heartache from you, Leo, and Kate (was Sophia in that one? I'll have to go back and look?) in that video stole my heart, and I've been a subscriber since. Thanks for sharing your passion! You converted me to a Reptile person, from a Bird Person! We still have poultry, but we've added a Beardie, and 5 Western Box Turtles. I have plans for an outdoor Dragon cage for summer and a large Redfoot enclosure to add this next year!

I have been watching since 2016, mainly because I wanted to give my Herman's tortoises a better environment. Not easy to do in Wisconsin due to temperatures but I got it figured out thanks to you!
