So glad you met up with Kenan. He's such a great guy, and puts everything into the care, maintenance, and happiness of his animals. Listening to you two was like watching two kindred spirits chat it up all day. Oh, I just had a thought. You should check out Chris and Gabby from Florida's Wildest(that's their KZbin channel.) They not only a ton of cool rescue animals, but they just recently bought their first large property for their animal sanctuary, and the enclosures are _huge,_ they get plenty of enrichment, and their animals literally eat better than I do. They also just rescued a 12ft alligator, as well as a blonde Nile croc female. They are also just incredible people. Super knowledgeable, super empathetic, always willing to drop what they're doing and go the extra mile to help an animal, etc., etc. Chris also specializes in crocodillians, and does some incredible work training them, to the point that he can literally sit a foot or two in front of them, and calmly feed them. He also does wildlife photography, and a couple years ago he was diving in south Florida, and game across an alligator, just chillin on the bottom. He then sees something ahead, and literally just 15-20 feet away, is a large American crocodile who's also lying on the bottom, not caring in the least about the large ape covered in neoprene investigating him. He got super close up shots, as well as footage of the croc(I think?) walking or swimming away when he'd had enough. And then there's the time he went to Africa (I forget where), and jumped into a river with hippos not too far away, seeking big Nile crocs to record and take pictures of(which he did.) Good lord. Sorry, I'm rambling. Oh, and Slinky is most definitely top dog at Kamp Kenan. I don't care if he gets a komodo dragon(or a Tyrannosaurus rex for thank matter.) Slinky is the OG, and will always be king.
